54-55). His chosen name, 'Moon', only reinforces this impression, given the mystic powers that are often ascribed to the moon. In this context, it is especially interesting to note that many cultures associate the moon with femininity, not least of all Greek mythology. Two goddesses, Serene and Artemis, represent the moon while their respective brothers, Helios and Apollo, represent the sun (cf. Roman & Roman).

I enjoyed the movie; it gave me another perspective on what happens to people who don’t obtain documented papers and will do whatever it takes to persevere just to survive. Before watching this movie, I was not as clueless as I imagined. I just never given it a second thought until I would see something about families, on the local news people getting separated or people dying because of inhuman situations. Under the Same Moon open my eyes about the love a mother has for her child, under critical situations, when the mother must leave her child, to find a better life for the child.
On the First Day of the Fifth Moon, denizens all around the castle were startled when the usually calm home was disrupted by loud noises and various colors of light within the sky. The sudden commotion caused people to depart what activities they had been doing to travel where the disturbance was the loudest. Inside the Gate Courtyard, denizens and the Royal Army stood, watching and waiting for something to reveal itself as the reason behind the disquietude of the sky. Just as they were to move for an exit, green and purple lights zoomed through the sky and landed in the courtyard with a boom.
Astrological calendars have been in existence since ancient times where time was measured according to the number of Moons that had passed in a certain period, or in consonance with the shadows that were cast by either the Sun or Moon. Solar years are calculated based on the sun’s motions, whereas lunar years are mutually based on the moons motions. A lunar year consists of approximately 354 days, whereas there are 365 days in solar year. By virtue of the eleven day disparity between a solar and lunar year, an additional month is added to the lunar calendar every three years, and as for the solar calendar, every fourth year, a leap day is added to the month of February. A lunar year is comprised of twelve lunar months, which corresponds to the time that elapses as the moon carries out each of its phases and proceeds to its position of origin. In contrast, a solar month is one twelfth of a solar year, given that a solar year is span of time that elapses as the Earth completes a single revolution around the sun.
In the three papers I have submitted this semester on Bipolar I Disorder (BD), I have discussed etiology, subpopulations and comorbidity, and current gaps in care. In this paper, I will continue to discuss these topics by outlining what kinds of epidemiological evidence are still needed to improve care for children and adolescents with mental health disorders, identifying anxiety disorders as subpopulation that needs further research, and giving three recommendations for how we should address gaps in care for those with Bipolar I Disorder.
In the poem ‘Moon’, Kathleen Jamie explores themes of abandonment, loneliness and disconnection. She does this by utilizing a clearly dysfunctional relationship between a mother and child. The child replaces the either mentally or physically absent mother with the presence of the moon. To explore the emotional distance between child and mother, the author uses dark and light imagery to empathize the child’s loneliness and to evoke the scene of a parent visiting they child late at night. Personification of inanimate objects illustrates the detrimental effects the unavailable mother has on the child’s mental wellbeing. The poem ends with dialogue from the protagonist, the child, pointing out that the moon is not her mother, as if to be
