In the Unites States violence is increasing along with other terrible crimes including assault. Some people view allowing concealed gun carry will become more problematic in the U.S. Others believe allowing concealed gun carry can help improve lower violent crime rates. I believe gun concealed gun carry laws should be allow because crime rates will be decreased , citizens will be allowed an effective way to self defense , and have protection in their homes.

Americans have earn the right to protect their freedom due to the sacrifices made as a whole to created this country. One form of protection is the freedom to keep and bear arms. Today’s society is not safe where violent people exist that will attack and harm others. Crime is an obvious issue in society that people often fear the most. Yet there laws to form a peaceful and crime free area but , some people choose to go against the laws.Unfortunately now there are many violent crimes where majority of victims due to not having gun are left defenseless. Being defenseless leads people to either get severely injured or dead.
Majority of lives have been lost due to gun violence. If concealed gun carry was allowed less crimes will happen due to the attacker would be hesitant to shoot people because , they wouldn’t know who had a gun.One news stories was the Trayvon Martin case. On the night of February 26,2012 Trayvon walk into a 7 - eleven in Sanford , Florida. Trayvon was buying a skittles and a can of Arizona. Trayvon was last known to be seen wearing a dark gray hoodie over his head. While on his way to his house Martin was being followed by a white hispanic. The white hispanic was later identified as George Zimmerman. Zimmerman follow Trayvon assaulted , shot and killed him. If Trayvon had a gun or people in the neighborhood had one this event possibility wouldn't have. Trayvon could been here if he had a
“A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”
The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." A militia is an armed group of citizens who defend their community as emergencies arise.
Now a citizen carrying a concealed weapon can be very beneficial to society and maybe even help save lives. In an article by ProCon.org, it is stated that “...this law helped to stop a massacre in Dec. 2007 when a volunteer security guard for the church who was carrying a concealed handgun shot an attacker who had opened fire in the church.” ProCon claims that because this man had his concealed weapons permit, he himself was able to stop what could have been an awful and tragic mess. And that is the entire point of having a concealed weapons permit, so that any citizen can protect themselves from certain situations.

The Second Amendment states that “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed”.1 It is important to understand that the Second Amendment was created in order to allow the American people to form militias in response to a tyrannical government attempting to suppress the American way of life. In order for Americans to form militias, they must uphold their freedom to bear arms as a
“A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” In our political climate today, there is an ongoing debate on the meaning of the second amendment. In particular, much controversy centers upon whether we should make gun control laws more strict like the laws in DC, or if we should make laws to encourage and embrace American citizens to own firearms and carry them in public, similar to laws in Vermont. In fact, some citizens wonder why we even have the second amendment in the first place.
A piece of evidence for this would be that only a small portion of the country’s violent crime rate was caused by people with concealed carry permits. That would be, “approximately 0.003% of all murders in that time period.” (Kamy) This is only a small portion of the violent crimes committed in the U.S., and shows that people with concealed carry permits are usually responsible, law abiding citizens. Another piece of evidence would be that, "Gun control supporters believe that RTC laws cause crime. However, since 1991, when violent crime hit an all-time high, 25 states have adopted RTC laws, the number of people with carry permits has risen to over 12 million, and the nation’s violent crime rate has decreased 51 percent, to a 43-year low." (NRA) This shows that if one were to give someone the freedom to choose they may be less likely to work against the law, and they would show more respect to the law enforcers. Yet another piece of evidence for this reason would be that, “If it is illegal to carry weapons, then there’s a higher chance that the law-abiding citizens who aren’t likely to commit crimes will be defenseless against criminals and their weapons." (10 reasons) Imagine if someone were in their house having a good time and someone came in and pull a gun on them and their family. In that second wouldn’t they want to protect their family from getting hurt. Imagine if they couldn’t do anything about it? But, if guns with permits were allowed they could more easily defend themselves and their

The second amendment of United States constitution said “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed”. This amendment was embraced on December 15, 1791, taking in consideration that American citizens have a natural right to self-defense and they can help to accomplish the following purposes:
The people that are for concealed weapons feel that it is their right to carry. That it is a right granted to them by the United States Constitution. That government should not be responsible for protecting them at every turn. That it is their own right to protect themselves and their family. They are independent and wish to be independent from the government.
The Second Amendment to the U. S. Constitution states, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed" (United States of America).
Eighty-nine people depart from this earth due to gun violence in the US every day. From school children, to victims of domestic violence, to people going about their daily lives, this status quo is unacceptable. On Tuesday January 5th, 2016 President Obama announced that he would send proposals on reducing gun violence in America to Congress. His spokesman, Jay Carney, mentioned that this is “a complex problem that will require a complex solution.” The ability to own a gun is considered by some a birthright of Americans. However, with crime rates involving handguns rising each day it has become quite clear. Handgun laws must become stricter in order to reduce homicide and crime. The question is, “which solution in most effective in decreasing gun violence?” Gun control is a major conflict that is constantly reoccurring and the US is seemingly divided over it.
Concealed carry is a constitutional right to citizens of the U.S. for the right to bear arms. People who support of concealed carry law say that criminals are less likely to attack someone they believe to be armed. It is set in stone that Americans have the right to bear arms. This should not be any different nowadays that violence and crime rates are going through the roof (Henigan).
