Based on the predicted results of this proposed experiment, the length of the scars seems to decrease over time because of the Vitamin D3 more than the sunlight. In the D3 treatment, all three patients started out with approximately the same length and visibility of scars: seven inches and very visible. However, the acquired D3 seems to have had a significant impact on the dimensions of the scars after two months. Patient 1, who received D3 before and throughout therapy, exhibits significantly reduced damage. This patient’s scar’s length diminished to approximately four inches and the scar is hardly perceptible. Meanwhile, Patient 2, who received D3 after therapy, exhibits slightly reduced damage. This patient’s scar’s length decreased to about five inches and the scar is lightly visible. Finally, Patient 3, who received no D3 at all, exhibits unaffected damage.
