The movie "Dead Poets Society", and the poems "TO THE VIRGINS, TO MAKE MUCH OF TIME" by Robert Herrick and "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost all have the common theme of living your life to the fullest embedded in them. Throughout the movie, the characters developed through poems and found strength in becoming their own person. Neil pursues acting as a career instead of following the path his father had laid out for him. This connects to the poem "The Road Not Taken" for the reason that Frost uses rhyming and an extended metaphor explaining how you must choose your own path of life.
