February,14,1600 My Dearest,Juliet
I think you are more beautiful than the sun.when I first saw you I thought you were a agull. I saw you at the dance and you looked back.
I liked it when we first met. We flirted with each other. I liked how you still loved me when you knew who I was. I will change my name for you.
You make me the happiest person in the world. You make me want to leave my family for you.
With my love,Juliet
Romeo
I’m yours as you are mine, love. I still remember how you look that night, so timid and beautiful. I’m glad I said, yes because now , you are a part of my life. I love you. The me before you was lost and hopeless and when I met you, a new me before you was born.
It made me want to know more about you. The day you gave me applesauce, and then started crying because you didn’t want to give it away? That’s the moment I started to fall in love with you. Every Time I saw you after that, I fell in love with you more, until it felt like I was living for the days when I got to see you, and the rest of my life was just spent waiting for those days.
At first i was a little confused on how i felt about you. i didnt know anything about you at all. I think thats what made us feel the way we do. we got to know eachothers faults, positives and everything inbetween. i wouldnt trade it for anything in the world... except 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 dollars. then i would trade you that for your love then we would both be rich (;. Your smile can brighten up any room and everytime i see it my heart melts. it means youre happy and thats all i could ever ask for. your happiness.

You know, you truly are an amazing person. You are one with a great many talents and skills, ranging from your intelligence to your creativity. The work you have accomplished in life is awe-inspiring, especially with your art pieces. Throughout the time we had known each other, we have shared many adventures and many conversations (though… mostly things relating to anime…). Still, I find those moments with you to be some of the best in my life.
Romeo and Juliet tells the tale of two young lovers forbidden to be together because of the long-lasting feud between their two families. No matter what their families may think of each other Romeo and Juliet knew that their love for each other was true and they persisted in being with each other. The two bring out the best in each other and have done things that weren’t really thought of as things they would do prior to their meeting, for example, Juliet seems to have brought light into Romeo’s life as opposed to before they met when he came off as this depressed boy that was stuck on a girl that would never like him back. Juliet at the beginning didn’t really seem to be the type to rush into marriage, but after she met Romeo she instantly knew that
Romeo and Juliet; a classic tragedy of two lovers who cannot be together due to circumstances beyond their control. The story has been done by various movies, many of which change certain aspects in an attempt to breathe new life into this age old tale. In 1996, Director Baz Luhrman took the story and placed it in a modern setting where the two rival families are mafia families. This sounds like an interesting take on the story and it certainly was, but the movie turned out as a complete mess.
The play Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare is accurate compared to the time in history that he was writing his story in. The story takes place in Verona, Italy, a place that was "culturally rich and commercially successful," according to EXPLORING Shakespeare, 2003. Verona was a very lively town but, like many other places in Italy, it was subject to violence and war. We see this in the multiple fights that take place in the story. In this time period, there was also "division between supporters of the Emporer and supporters of the Pope," according to EXPLORING Shakespeare, 2003. This could be symbolized by the fact that the Capulets and Montagues were rivaling families. The violence and division of the people are closely tied factors

When I saw you the first time, I swear I had not loved anyone before then. When you and Rosaline come in compare, it's you who's always better once again. Waiting high in that balcony for me as I climbed this high, steep wall towards you, from what I see, I know you will agree that our love like no other is so true. Our families hate each other to death, their hate will kill us but they don't know,
The poisoned youth that's what we are. Our generation is filled with lies and secrets a time where everyone knows everyone's business and rumors spread quick. Some people say that before us, teenagers were more respectful towards their parents and listened to them well, but is that really true? In the olden days kids still disrespected their parents they just didn't know.
Adaptations are a prospect that is universally debatable on what makes a good contemporary reworking of a text. This notion is especially true for that of Shakespearean plays. Over the years, many of his works have been adapted and modernized throughout film and other various media outlets; Romeo and Juliet being one of the Shakespearean plays with the most adaptations, especially in film. Three of those films being Romeo + Juliet by Baz Luhrmann, West Side Story by Robert Wise, and Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet. Though adapting the same story, the way these films modernize and update the original story of Romeo & Juliet are heavily influenced by the audience and society of their time. However, the one aspect that always stays the same in
Romeo and Juliet is a play by William Shakespeare, of two young lovers from opposable families in which their relationship is hindered by separation. In this essay, I will be comparing and contrasting myself to the female character, Juliet.
At my workplace at UWG, there’s a firm push to seek operating cost saving across the board given the competitive marketplace we work in. From the initial discussions held with my direct reports, this drive isn’t perceived as their top priority given the pressure to deliver works to timelines agreed with clients. I’ve taken some time to assess the situation - specifically on how I can influence my direct reports behaviour to achieve the desired outcome. My leadership style as a motivator is biased on being an effective manager rather than a leader – I put a heavy reliance on intrinsic (self-motivation) in my team. It has always been a challenge for me to determine how to effectively and efficiently motivate individuals within my team, as remuneration is not the only motivation that they are looking for.
Almost everyone knows the name William Shakespeare. Everyone who knows Shakespeare knows he is a famous poet, playwright, and actor. Some may even say he is the greatest writer in the English language. But what Shakespeare is widely known for is his many plays. One of his most recognizable and beloved plays, of love and heartbreak, is the tragic drama Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare left no stage direction with this play, leading it to be interpreted in many ways. This week an English class watched three different Romeo and Juliet films to find the many ways they can be interpreted.
