In the Avatar and Titanic by James Francis, the theme of love is explored. Titanic is a movie about how a couple meets and its following revelation to their relationship when the Titanic sinks. Avatar talks about how Jake goes to another world and falls in love with an avatar, which is a blue humanoid creature that lives in the wilderness. Love has no boundaries, and goes beyond looks, unlike what is told by society. There is no distinction between identity and nobility. On the other hand, Jack is just a regular guy with the middle class status. Back in the days, people think middle class people should not get marry with people from the higher classes. The first time when Jack meets Rose, he stops her from jumping off the deck to commit suicide.
