The two media sources I’m going to use are Eyewitness to History and the History Channel.The disaster I’ll be writing about is the sinking of the Titanic(also known as the “unsinkable ship.”)The sinking of the Titanic happened on April 14,1912 at 11:40 P.M. in the Atlantic Ocean when leaving Southampton to New York City. The cause of the sinking was because of an iceberg the ship crashed into.There were 2,200 passengers, after the collision with the iceberg there was only 705 survivors and 1,522 passengers died. These two resources have some similarities and also some differences. Eyewitness to History and the History Channel both gives us reliable information on previous disasters,especially the Titanic.The History Channel shows us pictures and videos about the survivors and more. While Eyewitness to History only gives us an article on this topic. They both give us information on when it happened. Yes, these two sites are sensitive to the reader’s emotions.I say this because they don’t show any dead bodies or skeletons.The History Channel only show us pictures of what the Titanic looked like after it sank years later and the passengers’ possessions at that time.Eyewitness only has an article and it doesn’t show any horrifying pictures also.The writers and journalists for the History Channel and Eyewitness made sure …show more content…

“Was the information that was provided accurate?” Yes, I say yes because Eyewitness’s and the History Channel’s information were pretty similar.The only problem I had was how many passengers were on the ship.Eyewitness said there were 2,200 passengers and the History Channel said there were 3,000.That was probably an accident on their part but other than that they gave me some helpful resources.Out of the two I’ll say that the History Channel gave me more resources.It had videos about the survivors,pictures,and more.Thanks to those two resources I learned more about the sinking of the
