Today i am going to compare the finnish and US government. Finland is nothing like the US at all, they might have some similarities but they are nothing alike.
Finland's presidency is nothing like the united states. For example, in Finland presidents get to serve up to 2 6 year terms. but in the US, presidents only get to serve 2 4 year terms. The president of the united states is Donald Trump, and the president of Finland is Sauli Niinistö. In addition, I will also be talking about how they viewed the position of President of the United States. Did you know Finland’s government is not so different than our own here in the US? There are many similarities and differences such as our militaries another way that Finland and the US are the same is the structure of the government that we have. Even though our structure is basically the same our laws that have been passed and are used are very different. The Framers of the United States Constitution ultimately decided to give more power to the Federal government rather than the state governments for many reasons. There were many problems with the articles that caused instability in the government, and even a rebellion. Then there’s the Federal government who lacked powers to do anything much because the people were too scared to make the Federal government strong.
