Additionally, speak with the employees at the hotel Mr. Ward and his wife stayed at to see if anything occurred during his stay there. Might reach out to seek legal advice. Thank you for your email. I want to sincerely apologize for the situation that occurred with you and your family during your parent’s 50th anniversary celebration.
The Colonnade has an overbooking policy that is in place to protect ourselves against no-shows. We attempt to predict the number of rooms we overbook depending on how many no-shoes we are expecting each night and while this is usually 100% accurate, there are times where we are mistaken and unfortunately, you were the guest that was affected.

I am truly and deeply sorry and I would like to apologize to excessively talking during the memorial mass for Sister Helen Marie. I was 100% wrong in this situation and I accept full responsibility for everything I said. I also accept the consequence that was given to me. I now realize that what I did could have waited until the end of mass or once we exited the building. I am very sorry and I hope you understand that I did not mean to be disrespectful at the time. I wanted to apologize for taking so long to send out your card. They all went out today. My mast cell has taken a turn no one saw coming and has caused other issues to occur. Because of all this, on top of my brain fog sending out the cards got overlooked. I am so embarrassed I am sending these out so late and that I was the one who initiated this whole card exchange. I appreciate your dedication and interest in my education. It is because of you that I am attending college. I would have otherwise ended up like a nobody. The hope is to have all the rooms on the property occupied on any given night; due to the fact of no-shows and cancellations hotels may decide to overbook. Though hotel overbooking can offer success to a vast array of hotels, it is clear that there are also some disadvantages that could spawn from it. In his article, “The Impact of Overbooking on Hotels’ Operation Management,” Vladimir Sashov Zhechev notes some of the possible consequences that could result for overbooking when all of the guests do actually show up that had a reservation. For example, if a customer has made a reservation at a certain hotel and arrives there only to discover that their room has been given to another guest who also had a reservation, it is only logical that the guest is going to be quite irate. It is now the duty of the hotel to arrange for that customer to have alternate lodging accommodations, as well as provide transportation for them to get to their other destination (Zhechev et. al Ivanov 7). I asked him if he had any questions about how we do things at our hotel and how I could best help him. He told me that since while he was very familiar with FOSSE there were still a few things that he needed to refresh his memory on. I went over all of that information with him. Then he told me that he needed help with third party reservations. Third party reservations are reservations from online websites such as Priceline, Expedia, or Booking.com. The way you check third party reservations in is completely different from the way you check-in standard reservations. With third party reservations you only want to swipe guest’s credit cards for incidentals. When we arrived at the hotel, a man, who looked a staff, did valet parking service for us, and we moved to the desk to get a card key. We certainly checked in and we followed the guide of one of the employees. He let my family get in a cart, and he guided us to our room where we reserved before we came here. While going there, small waterfall and many various flowerpots welcomed us. I could see that our room was being close to us, which was designed as a modern building. When we arrived at
