Mistakes something that we all do. People are not perfect therefore we will all make mistakes many times in our life. But there are two types of people in the world's ones that will live up to their mistakes and accept that they did it so they can move on. And there are those that will never live up to the mistakes they made and they will never be able to move on. The only way to truly learn from a mistake is to accept that you made one. There have been many times in my life that I have messed up and made mistakes. Some very terrible some not so bad. But none of them never were as bad as this one but, what i learned from the mistake made it all worthwhile. I am a basketball player in the game of basketball many mistakes can be made and many will be made as it is a …show more content…
I would still to continue to do these things constantly. But, a worse problem know i would do them and get frustrated with the referees even though i know i made them. Which was mad cause eventually i got ejected from the game a few times because of me getting mad which costs us the game a few times. One time this happened at a semi-final game where if i hadn’t got ejected we would’ve won. This was the biggest mistake of my life. But, it is hard in our culture not to get mad because, you see people on tv get mad all the time for these things. So that is a reason I still was getting mad I didn’t think it was a big deal until it cost us the biggest game of my life. I Sat in my room for days crying about how big of mistake i just made. At that moment i told myself i would never get mad at another call in a sports game agains. That next year we had made our way back into the semi- final game. Where i was dribbling the ball and i was getting bad calls on me the whole game which was frustrating me. They blew the whistle and called me for a violation. I didn’t get mad at all I said to my team my bad and we went on to win that
The one real mistake I believe we can make in life is to not learn from missteps
A. As we (as nursery nurses) are the ones that spend time with the children and look after them, we are the first contact for not only the children but for their parents too. So it’s very important that we are seen as professional and competent people at all times. I, as an individual, work alongside a small team of professional childcare workers to support, inspire, care for and look after all the children within my care. I will maintain a safe environment for the children to explore, learn and play in. I am polite to other staff, children and parents and communicate well with everyone.
Prior to his method on error, Descartes has already proven a pair of foundational beliefs. In meditation one, Descartes proved that he was “a thinking thing” and that in order to be a thinking thing, “I exist”. In mediation three, he proved that God exists due to the fact that in order to have an idea of God, one must already have the idea innately implanted in their mind. Since Descartes is finite he believes that God innately implanted the thought of an infinite perfect being in his mind, so therefore God exists.
I feel awkward answering this question because I have made many mistakes and there isn’t anything good out of those mistakes. In my opinion, wrong decisions never bring anything positive. Wrong decisions decrease morale and self-esteem. At a young age, mistakes or wrong decisions don’t affect much, but as you get older wrong decisions can have a tremendous negative impact. There aren’t second chances for people who make wrong decisions. I know that deep down below the surface mistakes can bring opportunities to learn and improve ourselves, but in this rapidly changing and moving world, there isn’t time to reflect and learn from those mistakes. If wrong decisions brought opportunities for learning and personal improvement, many
It is always good to learn from your mistakes. Sometimes mistakes can be considered good things because it lets a person change how they do something and that there could be many ways for doing one task.
We all make mistakes that we later regret, but that's life. We need to focus more on just accepting to live with it.
Human beings make mistakes; sometimes they learn from their first mistake, sometimes they learn after
There are so many events that change one’s life that it is rather difficult to try and decipher which of those events are most important. Each event changes a different aspect of your life, molding how one’s personality turns out. One of these events occurred when I was about twelve years old and I attempted to steal from a Six Flags amusement park. My reasoning for stealing wasn’t that I didn’t have the money, or even that I wanted what I stole all that badly, it was that all of my friends had stolen something earlier that day and didn’t get caught. After getting caught I resolved, because the consequences are just not worth it, never to steal or give into peer pressure again.
Everybody makes stupid mistakes that could have been prevented, but nobody in this world is close to perfect and will never be perfect. Good can actually come from making mistakes, by doing something wrong you are corrected and shown how to fix it by someone who has already made your mistake. Growing up I have made plenty of terrible decisions that lead to consequences in the end. Also, I have seen many of my close friends and family make mistakes that got them into trouble, but afterwards they learned a valuable lesson. I am going to tell you a story about one of my close friends who made a mistake and took full responsibility of his action and by doing so learned a valuable lesson that he can now pass on to people in his life.
Failure is a part of everyone's daily lives; however, depending on the person you are you
I own two personal computers, particularly a desktop and a laptop. Both of these PC’s are running Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. The desktop, an HP M7250N, was purchased in April 2006 and the laptop, a Toshiba M105-S3004, was purchased in June 2007. Both PC’s were purchased new. At first both units performed very well with no long term issues. Approximately two months after the purchase of each computer, I noticed that they were failing to automatically install several updates from both the Windows Update and the Microsoft Update sites. These updates included various security and root certificate updates. The updates were able to download to my
An athlete made a mistake, so what? Owning up to mistakes and realizing what one needs to do better is a sense of swallowing your pride and noticing what an athlete can do to do better. In the book The Leadership Clock written by Brain Cain he says, “ Accepting responsibility for your actions is a common theme on a great team” (Cain 83). This quote explains to be great athletes have to be able to own up to their mistakes. Both individually as an athlete, as well as a whole or as an organization what athletes can improve on. Athletes taking pride in what they do and learning, and respecting the coaches can help athletes realize what they can do better. Respecting your coaches is a crucial part of owning up to your mistakes because it makes athletes realize coaches will give you feedback regardless, it's how you interpret it and use it to better oneself.
I never knew when it started, this obsession. Didn’t even realize how slowly and steadily what I thought I could control controlled me. I am not like most people my likes, dislikes and feelings differ from most of the crowd. When did I become someone who cared so much what other people think of me? Now that I think about it, it baffles me how I slowly and steadily from being an individual who preaches about being different suddenly became someone who just wanted to fit in to other people’s expectations. And suddenly I feel I woke up to realize what kind of a slave I had become.
A famous saying by Al Franken goes like “Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless its a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.” I think mistakes are necessary. It shapes you to become a better, wiser and a stronger person who is prepared to face further challenges as well.
