My High School Goals
As a freshman, I am starting to develop many goals in life. These goals are my academic, professional and personal goals. They include getting straight A’s all four years, learning more about music and deciding what I want to have as my job before high school ends. Many people take goals bit by bit. So, there is one goal I’m focusing on- my profession. High school is the time to explore and find interests of what you want to do, eventually leading up to your final decision. Therefore, I will be talking about the little goals in high school- academics and personal- leading to my long term goal- my career choice.
To begin with, my academic goal is to excel in school. Since I only got honors math, I’m hoping to get all honors
The first goal i would like to achieve is to get a GPA of 3.5 - 3.8 or higher and to get honor roll. I will achieve this goal by focusing more on my grades and paying more attention in my classes. Staff members at Fieldcrest High School have always preached that if have no goals set for yourself, then that’s exactly where you’ll go; nowhere. I have learned that to be successful in life, setting goals is an essential start to the right track of achieving them. My current goals include: graduate from the University of Texas, graduate from the Dental Program at The University of Texas, and be an orthodontist. Being an active learner through my academics and extracurricular activities, will set the tone for me to excel academically throughout many years of education to become an orthodontist, will improve communication skills for years to come, and will provide critical time management skills to prioritize commitments.
I have three short term goals firstly, I would like to graduate high school with honors. Next, I would like to get a job this summer to gain some work experience. Lastly, I want to one day do an internship that coincides with my major in the near future. The most important long range goal I have ever had was to graduate high school. This has been one of my goal's throughout my career as a student. It has been my main goal because I will be the only child of my mother's to graduate from high school. My mother has always pushed me to my best and has always told me to reach for the stars with this goal, because she did not want me to get a GED like she did. My education goals consist of learning something new every day. Throughout my educational career as a student there were major and minor bumps in the road, yet my goal of being able to receive a high school diploma kept me thriving to accomplish it. Now as the last few months of school wind down closer and closer to graduation my heart grows
My mission statement for my high school career is to be able to speak in front of people, earn good grades, and meet new people. I am going to achieve this by going outside my comfort zone, pushing myself to always try a little harder, and be more of independent a student. At the end of high school, I want to look back and be proud of what I have achieved and how I have grown overall as a
As a senior I hope to accomplish many goals, some of them being in high school and some relating to college. A goal is an aim or a desired result, but may not always be achieved. Going into senior year I have aspirations of going to a good college and working for higher grades.

I myself am a very expressive person; I know my goals, and seek them to my greatest ability. My main priority is to finish high school with my GPA greater than 4.0, and to pursue a career in the medical field.
As a high school student, my goal was always to do my best, become involved in my school and community and become successful in high school, but also set standards for myself once I start college. There are many accomplishments in my life that I never expected of myself and have had many experiences that have made me appreciate all the opportunities I have gotten throughout high school.

Some short terms goals I have is to earn a 4.0 for my last semester in high school and make my school’s varsity tennis team in the spring. I want to earn a 4.0 for my last semester in high school because I want to do all that I can to improve my cumulative grade point average and it will encourage me to continue being a scholar. Making my school’s varsity tennis team will allow me to play more challenging players which will improve my playing skills. Some long-term goals I have is to graduate college and have a job by the time I graduate. Graduating with a diploma has always been a goal for me and it will make both my parents and me very happy. With the diploma, I will be able to get a job as a computer engineering and that is very important
My future academic goals for high school are to keep up my grades and graduate with honors. To graduate with honors I have to be a life time member of CSF. Keeping up my grades will help me have a higher chance of getting into the college I want. The college I would like to go to is Cal Poly, which require a 3.87 GPA. In college I want to study animal science or marine biology. I want to study one of those two because I love animals, and I always wondered what else there was out in the ocean. Those are my future academic goals and to achieve them I need to believe that I can achieve and make sure I always try my best, just like when I performed in the talent show.
