College Admissions Essay: A Career In Early Childhood Education

Education at its best is a process of teaching people to explore ideas about themselves and the world in which they live, to ask questions about the experience called “living” and to embrace ambiguity, to notice the unusual without fear and to look upon the ordinary with new eyes.

Impatiently waiting for my friends to pick me up, I spot, across the room, my bulletin board. Leaning up against the wall, slips of paper, I thought were important enough to remember, are pinned up, overlapping each other. Ordinarily, I would walk right by, however, I stopped to take a glance.

Education is something that I have always valued. My passion of learning has only intensified since I was younger. The constant challenge that comes with learning new things is how I know that I am bettering myself. I have always been a very self-dependant person, and education wizens me and allows me to make my own decisions.

I first found my passion for early childhood education soon after my son was born.

According to U.S. Department of Education, Early Education teacher means “any professional working in Early Learning and Development Programs, including but not limited to center-based and family child care providers, infant and toddler specialists, early administrators, Head Start teachers, Early Head Start teachers, preschool and other teachers, teacher assistants, family services staff, and health coordinators.” Some reason why people want to become an early education teacher persist of good education programs, wages/benefits, and the skills people need to have for the job.

Education is one of the most effective ways to improve quality of life. Education is needed for expanding knowledge. It makes one’s brain healthy and filled with knowledge and new material s/he may never knew before. It is needed to succeed, reach greater heights, and find a good job. Without education, a lot of people might be beggars. Everything learnt is needed to take seriously, and valued with all respect. If people did not have an education, they might be unfortunate and yearning for it even more. Education is more than just learning, homework, and studying. It helps humans learn what has happened in the past, present, and what could possibly happen in the future.

With proper education, it can help shape an individual's future; education is the foundation of the way of life today, it is needed and required everywhere in the world. Those who strive to be employed, make money, or do something great in the future has to rely on education to get them there. Education is mandatory to become an engineer, doctor, teacher, astronaut etc.; the skill required to be able to do any type of work is gained from learning the basics and having a clear understanding of it. An individual's success depends mainly on their talent and hardwork. Although we rely on education, we as well rely on that individual's strength, determination, and perseverance. Every individual are each a diamond in the rough and should be well taken care

Education, gives us the key to the future, it allows us to see the world, and comprehend it. Education isn't ordinary, it's an idiosyncratic weapon; even though it's a weapon, it wasn't design to kill. It was designed to allow any human being to change the world and shows them the truth. Put them on a path that gives the user unlimited knowledge but how they obtain it and use it, will all depend on the user. Education allows you to push others so they can see a new future or how to change it and turn it to the best instead of being the worst.

Education is about teaching and learning for improving skills and knowledge. Education also means helping people to do, to learn and encouraging them to think what they learn. Education can give people knowledge of society, country, the world and many things else. From children to adult are supposed to have knowledge through education. More details, education helps and guide people from uneducated to knowledge.

Education is the very foundation in which we as individuals grow, and formulate the knowledge we gain through life into meaningful ways of adapting to the world.

Education plays a huge roll in my life. Growing up, my family always prioritizes education. From my point of view, education is the key to a successful lifestyle. I was taught to go to school for an education, so I could apply what I learned into a lifelong career. I believe an education opens opportunities for those who are willing to receive an education. In my perspective, an education is important, so I can become successful and live the “American Dream.” Education is an important factor that will contribute to my future.

Education is the process of learning that can take place anywhere and at any time. I believe that creativity and activity as well as books and lessons are essential to the learning process. As a teacher, I hope to instill in the children a sense of knowledge and self-worth that will remain with them throughout their lives.
