The hypothesis overall is that people who are coffee consumers would have a higher GPA than people who are non-consumers for numerous explanations. Also, it is assumed that the research will show that coffee consumption would increase as the number of years the individual is in school increases, and that one gender over the other will have a higher level of consumption as well as higher overall GPA. This would be analyzed through a conduction of interviews of students on the Northern Michigan University’s campus concerning their coffee consumption. In addition to this, an online survey of NMU student’s for gathering information about their demographics, coffee consumption, reasons why they drink, and their view of how coffee has assisted or worsened their academics. Using these two sources of information, you would be able to draw conclusions from the interviews about coffee 's relationship with GPA and then see if the results of the survey supported the information.
