Paul Joseph, the other driver – Florida’s no fault law includes an “injury threshold” limiting law suits to claims of great bodily injury, permanent disability or disfigurement. Statutes, however, are unclear as to exactly what constitutes great bodily injury. It is unlikely that Paul Joseph would be named as a defendant in this action, as Mary’s PIP insurance would be the proper party. Under Florida’s Civil Remedy Statute, §624.155(1)(b), Mary’s insurance company is required to act in her best interests. Should they act in “bad faith” by failing to settle for a reasonable amount, Mary may sue for an amount which is “a reasonably foreseeable result of a specified violation of this section by the authorized insurer and may include an award or judgment in an amount that exceeds the policy limits.” Fla. Stat. §624.155(8) However, the statute goes on to state that “No punitive damages shall be awarded under this section unless the acts giving rise to the violation occur with such frequency as to indicate a general business practice and these acts are: (a) Willful, wanton, and malicious; (b) In reckless disregard for the rights of any insured; or (c) In reckless disregard
If you have a flat bed truck that you use to haul things around, it might be a good idea for you to consider buying a sliding tarp system. A functional truck and fuel being obtained is not realistic because for starters where would they get the fuel from if the gas station are destroyed and can’t function without electricity. To find a functional truck would be rare since it has been years since the disaster happened and the trucks engine would probably not work because of how much time it has passed. Although the book talks about the diesel truck which makes me wonder how the people driving the diesel have fuel.
When you buy a truck or any car for that matter you need to maintain the truck. When you buy a truck it is much harder to maintain due to the additive amount of extra work you have to do. A truck is typically used for physical labor. This causes more wear and tear on the truck i.e. the bed of the truck and the undercarriage. Maintenance on truck is a lot more that it seems

There are more than 253 Million cars and trucks in the U.S at this moment. That sounds like a lot but really it isn’t that many. For every 1.3 cars or trucks there is only one person in the United States. With this many cars and trucks in the U.S. there is bound to be some controversy about which one is better. Many people may prefer trucks over cars and in vice versa. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. While trucks are better at hauling or towing things, cars have better gas mileage and can hold more people.
Our investigation reveals that the Coca-Cola vehicle was parked and unoccupied when your insured driver struck our insured’s vehicle on its right side. As per our conversation, your driver observed our stationary vehicle, questioned whether he could pass it safely and proceeded to cause a loss. Per Massachusetts statue it is the duty of each driver to keep a safe distance between the vehicles he or she wishes to pass. Based on the aforementioned, we must respectfully deny your claim and advise that we plan to seek subrogation for damages.
