Throughout my co-op work terms, I was able to gain valuable skills that will be of use to your team. At Island Health Telehealth, I was able to calculate and report the Self Care of Heart Failure Index (SCHFI) statistics with no previous knowledge on how this data was calculated and then presented my findings to my co-workers. Being able to quickly adapt to changing conditions was vital in all of my previous positions. At Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, things were always changing as the Clinical and Systems Transformation (CST) project went through various phases. The ability to prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner was a well-received trait. Throughout my schooling career I learned about various testing methods including,
Teamwork is one of the greatest skills I’ve learned here at WWTC, I have learned to trust others as well as myself, I have learned to depend on others as well as allow others to depend on me.
The fourth goal requires the student to show their teamwork skills in a healthcare or research setting.
Of the teamwork skills listed, motivation, communication/collaboration, and continuous improvement are especially relevant to practicing as an NP. Under the motivation category, it specifically states that the team member is consistently focused on producing high quality work. This statement suggests both that the work being done is done well, and, that this level of work is always maintained. Mistakes matter
In today's changing healthcare environment, it is more important than ever for professional nurses to be skilled in collaborating with professionals from other healthcare disciplines. What communication strategies can professional nurses use to specifically promote collaboration with other healthcare disciplines and professionals?
I am writing to express my interest to fill the position of Human Resources Co-op Student as advertised in the job posting. The thought of working at Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) excites me because of the new and unique opportunity it brings. An organization of this caliber transcends with my beliefs as it intertwines with capabilities and by background. A background in Bachelors of History has thought me how to collect data from a wide range of field in which I have acquired the ability to engage directly with questions and presenting independent opinions about them in arguments that are well-written, clearly expressed, coherently organized and effectively supported by relevant evidence. Furthermore, I am able to evaluate critically
Teamwork is a quality that I believe is crucial for the medical field. I am a collaborative person and working well with others is a strong attribute that I and workers in the medical industry possess. Also, I do not discriminate nor do I ever refuse to work with anyone because of personal feelings. This is a significant quality that one should possess in order to provide safety for their
The Use of Propaganda to Mobilise the Minds of the Nation Toward War Propaganda is defined as a specific type of message presentation aimed at serving an agenda. At its root, the denotation of propaganda is 'to propagate (actively spread) a philosophy or point of view'. The most common use of the term historically is in political contexts; in particular to refer to certain efforts sponsored by governments or political groups. Advertising, religious preaching, etc. are also propaganda, as well as, in today’s world, TV talk shows. During World War 1 all types as propaganda was used to mobilise the minds of the nation towards war.

There are many influences in one’s life, that may change how one acts or feels. Humans are naturally good but influences play a major role in making people evil. In the play Macbeth, written by William Shakespeare, Macbeth was a brave and noble soldier. A few life-changing events transformed him from a brave soldier to a murderous tyrant. Macbeth was apart of some unfortunate events in which he had no control over. Macbeth was a victim of circumstances because of his good intentions, the witches prophecies, and Lady Macbeth.
This evidence shows employers the teamwork skills I have developed. The most significant being exercising the “give and take” approach to achieve group results, this means
I would like to study biomedical science, because not only is it a very exciting ever changing area that is relevant on a daily basis to humans, I am very keen to be challenged and inspired and involved in the latest advances in medical research. With my love of science in mind, I decided to study for the Level 3 BTEC in Applied Science at college. Studying has helped me make a transformation from a youth to a young adult; I have taught myself to be disciplined which I feel can be reflected in the grades I have achieved.
Being able to work in teams as a medical assistant is helpful because in any situation I would need the assistance of my co-workers.
What rating would you give the team out of 10 (10 being the highest level of success)? What factors do you think contributed to the level of success your team achieved when success is defined as the creation of a resource that has authority and is user-friendly and the degree to which you worked effectively as a team. Provide specific examples from your experience to illustrate these factors.
This environment was important to my framing and understanding of the project because it forced me to identify a problem in my own approach and perception of the men. One of the elements I like best about this project was its dedication to including the people who know the most about these issues. I appreciate how important the SSYI member's feedback is the process for implementation and how this project is giving lived experience a seat at the table. However I guess I am very used to this method being praised but not practiced and therefore still hold some unfair and misconceptions about what it means to work with people 'on the ground'. I am not someone who believes that academic or formal knowledge is more important or worthy than lived
Teamwork cannot be demanded. Everyone involved must discuss and understand what the goal is and what is required of them. Teams should have traits such as goals and objectives, empowerment, trust, authentic participation, innovation, creativity, risk taking and leadership. (Temme and Katzel, 1995)
