Cloud Computing is based from an invention, it allows programs to run and create outcomes in the space of a standard Web browser on a PC. All of the data and applications that are needed are located on a remote server on the Internet. Cloud Computing is Software and also Hardware. This is available to users via the Internet as a service, it allows web based interface through remote access and distribution of computing programs and data resources. (A cloud is also called a Public Cloud when Services are rendered over a network that is opened to public use). The idea of Cloud Computing was created in the (1960s by John McCarthy); “He proposed that computer calculations would someday be made with the maintenance of World Wide Utilities. (Early implementation of Cloud was patented and put to use in (England and Germany) by Hardy Schloer) The objective of Cloud Computing allows users to benefit from technologies without profound understanding, or skill, its target is to cut cost to customers. It should also help users to concentrate on their Corporation instead of being inhibited by Information Processing Complications. There are several different types of Cloud Computing Services that are available to Users. Some users use the service to store documents, videos and photographs, while others need the platform to develop IT Applications. Cloud Computing increases mobility, users are able to access documents from any device wherever in the world they are. Employees are able to
The focus of cloud computing is providing with scalable and a cheap on-demand computing infrastructure with a good quality of service levels. The process of the cloud computing involves a set of network enabled services that can be accessed in a simple and general way. Cloud computing provides with a unique value proposition for any organization to outsource their information and communication technology infrastructure. Moreover, the concept itself provides with a value proposition for an organization as using the cloud saves on cost, resources, and staff, and business opportunities for the organization (Katzan). An extensive connectivity of
Cloud computing is a new technology that comes with both benefits and drawbacks and like any new tech it can be used to great success when paired with steps to mitigate the security issues it raises. Cloud computing has become somewhat of an ambiguous term often having different meaning for different people. An article in InfoWorld (2013) stated, ”Cloud computing comes into focus only when you think about what IT always needs: a way to increase capacity or add capabilities on the fly without investing in new infrastructure, training new personnel, or licensing new software. Cloud computing encompasses any
Cloud computing is the practice of using remote storage for applications and data. The idea itself is not a new one; it has been in use for many years albeit under different names. In the earliest days of the computer age machines had to be physically large to contain the hardware required to do their jobs. It was impractical and prohibitively expensive to provide one of these mainframes for individual users; not to mention for what they were used for, unnecessary. Instead, one central computer was wired to several terminals that users could interface with. Typically, only large organizations such as, major corporations or government agencies could afford one of these machines or had need of one. This was the birth of cloud computing. Until the early 1980s this system was typical for any organization requiring large amounts of processing power. It was considered unnecessary and difficult to put the nuts and bolts of applications onto users’ desktop machines. Rather, by keeping applications in a central location, they could be managed and updated more easily and large amounts of storage space and processing power were not needed on desktop machines. Indeed, before this time there were no desktop machines mass produced that could achieve this level of power. This was about to change.
Cloud computing is one of the fastest growing segment of Information technology today. In simple words cloud computing means storing and accessing data and programs over the internet instead on the computer's hard drive which can be accessed from any part of the world if the individual are connected to the internet or a network connection is available 24/7. A simple example of cloud computing is g-mail. With the connection of internet through any medium we can send and receive emails.
Cloud Computing is a type computing that shares resources both hardware and software over the internet rather than sharing it over a local server . Users can access cloud based apps through a web browser or an mobile or laptop which makes things alot easier for the user. Lots of companies use cloud computing such as Xbox 360, there online cloud data service allows users to use their Microsoft accounts anywhere.
Cloud computing is provided by an outside organization; it takes the place of an existing system, usually an internal network, and moves it to a web based service where all information in the company will be processed and stored. Internal IT infrastructures can be costly due to maintenance and personnel. Cloud computing reduces costs by removing the need for an internal system and the people to run it.
Individual use on request -The resources can be used at anywhere, anyplace and at any time via a global network. There is no need for human intervention from a service provider in order to access the resources
Cloud computing is best described as the delivery of computing services on the internet platform. This particular technology has allowed households to use hardware and softwares as services off remote sites managed by third parties. Its model makes provision for ease in access of resources from anywhere with access to network connection. Cloud computing makes provision for a shared pool of resources such as space for data storage and platforms for user and corporate applications amongst others.
Cloud as the term signifies means the computers in a network to be used for data storage remotely and for maintenance. The cloud computing offers reductions in costs and also has increased scalability, reliability and flexibility in its own processes, and is considered as todays one of the most exciting technologies and has seen a rapid growth over the past ten years. The Cloud computing uses advanced level of computational
Cloud computing enhances data management in several ways. One specific advantage is that you can store your data on a virtual platform and access it at any given time via different devices– either by only yourself, or collaboratively. Google Drive, for instance – especially Google Slides and Google Docs – are cloud computing mechanisms that enable me to collaborate with others on projects. My team members and I can simultaneously add information to Google Drive, which is updated in real-time, and store our documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc. virtually. Google ensures that our work is continuously saved, and we do not have to worry about losing it (as opposed to my Mac’s Microsoft Word, which may or may not recover a file if it automatically crashes).
Cloud Computing is the use of common software, functionality or business applications from a remote server that is accessed via the Internet. Basically, the Internet is the "cloud" of applications and services that are available for access by subscribers utilizing a modem from their computer. With Cloud Computing, one simply logs into desired computer applications - such as sales force or office automation programs, web services, data storage services, spam filtering, or even blog sites. Generally, access to such programs is by monthly or annual paid subscription. Through Cloud Computing, businesses may prevent financial waste, better track
Cloud computing is an internet based computing which provides various applications and services like storage, servers, infrastructure, networking with low cost, on-demand self service, pay as you go model, location independent resource pooling, reasonable price , rapid elasticity etc. Cloud computing is one way to increase the capacity add capabilities without investing in new infrastructures like computer hardware involves storage memory, licensing for new software, training for a person and in a dynamic way.
Cloud Computing is a sеrvicе which is providеd by an intеrnеt basеd clouds .Thеsе clouds arе basically low cost sеrvеrs or PCs which managеs largе amount of data of many computеrs еasily.it oеrs various advantagеs likе safеty of data, rеliability, spееd of accеss to data and transparеncy. It is dе nеd as mеthod of using a nеtwork of rеmotе sеrvеr hostеd on thе intеrnеt to storе, managе and procеss data rathеr than storing on pеrsonal computеr is callеd cloud computing.
Cloud computing allows a group of services and networks which work together to provide storage and information. Cloud computing means resource offered as a rental over the Internet instead of storing information on your own drive you can directly use it on the Internet without downloading it.
What is Cloud Computing : Cloud Computing is a technology that uses large infrastructures (remote servers) to support a great demand on the
