’ll Always remember the time when the cleveland cavaliers won their first nba championship series in a long time. The golden state warriors were leading the series and the cavaliers were losing. In the last game of the series was when history was made. The cleveland cavaliers made the greatest comeback in nba history. The reason i like basketball is because it is fun, competitive and it’s good for your health.
The first reason reason is because it’s fun the reason it’s fun is because first of all you are competing against other players that are trying to defend and stop you from you being open to make a shot. while you are trying to make the shot. it becomes challenging . which leads to my second reason.
It’s also competitive because it’s a tough sport and requires you to be on top of your game and also requires you to be very athletic. sometimeS you gotta push yourself and try hard to succeed at it. It also requires a lot of strategy to work out plays and makes you really use your brain and think about what your next move is and that’s why i think it is educational and healthy which leads to my third reason.

Initially, in the world of sports in 2016 it was a spectacular year. The 50 years dry streak for the Cleveland Cavaliers ended with them making history by defeating the Golden State Warriors who had also recently broken regular season records by going 73-9 (beating the previous record of 72-10) by coming back from a 3-1 deficit in the NBA finals. After the Cleveland Cavaliers ended their dry streak, another team did the same. The Chicago Cubs ended the most infamous drought in American pro sports. After 108 years the Chicago Cubs won in game seven of the MLB finals which sparked worldwide celebrations from across the world. If “success” in context to the sports world is defined by success and setting new records, 2016 was definitely a success
I was glued at the tv, watching game seven of the NBA finals. The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors were tied at 89 with 1:05 left on the clock. The Cavaliers had the ball after a clutch block by Lebron James. Kyrie Irving was dribbling the ball down the court to the three point. Everyone knew that this possession would make or break these two teams while series and season.
This game has so many features making it an abundance of fun at all times because you will never get bored or be playing the same thing all the time. I love playing this game with and against my friends online because it creates a friendship that no other friends could have. We can talk about playing with each other or how well we destroyed a random opponent who was trash talking us. Anybody who likes basketball or sports games even a bit, will absolutely love this game and will want to play it non-stop until they are the best
ference Championship and to within a point of first place. On a scale of 0 to 100, with 100 being a perfect score, the Vanguard scored an 84.15. One DCI corps, The Cavaliers, made it within 85 hundredths of a point from perfection, perfection, a few years ago, while maintaining an Olympic level effort for their show.
With his impressive record, it was no surprise that James was the first player picked in the 2003 NBA Draft. The Cleveland Cavaliers signed the powerful young forward, and he proved to be a valuable addition to the then-struggling franchise. The team had ended the previous season in eighth place in the Eastern Conference. Around this time, James also signed several endorsement deals, including one with Nike for $90 million.
As the NBA regular season comes to an end, it’s time for teams to prove themselves and show that they are playoff-worthy. The Cleveland Cavaliers, who had the best record in the NBA Eastern Conference, were recently dethroned by the Boston Celtics. Soon after the Celtics took the number 1 spot in the east, the defending champions came back with multiple wins to tie the Celtics record of 50 wins and 27 losses, then beating them to put them at 50 and 28.
I started playing this amazing sport in first grade, and ever since, I have been playing it. At first it was all fun and games and then I hit 6th and 7th grade then I played to win. I would dive for the ball, get mad and shove players (not a lot though), shoot more, and all in all I played it more serious. I still play it for fun, but now it is time to win. My team, coaches, and parents help me get better and love it even more and I know for a fact that basketball has changed
Of the three major sports teams in Cleveland, Ohio, the Cleveland Cavalier, for they joined the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the early 1970. The Cavaliers had a very rocky start with the first 15 years being a losing season, after losing season. While some fans blamed the owner at the time, as he had no clue what he wanted to do with the team. But in 1988 the Cavaliers put together a rather good team, that made it to the playoff. During the first round of the playoff the Cavaliers played the Chicago Bulls in the best of five series. In the 5th game the Cavaliers were leading with only second to go in the game, but as with other teams in Cleveland, it would happen again, Michael Jordon would hit a basket with only 2 seconds left on the clock, this basket would be known as the “shot”, as this is a common theme for Cleveland fans, that all heartbreaking plays are given a name. Again, after the 1988 season the Cavaliers would only have mediocre seasons until after the 2003 draft, as a hometown boy from Akron, Ohio, named LeBron James, was graduating from high school, although the Cavaliers were not guaranteed that they would have the first draft pick to sign James, but as fate would have it, the Cavs, ended up winning the draft lottery and signed this young man to play for the Cavaliers. From the beginning of James career as a basketball player
The Cleveland Cavaliers is in the works of improving and upgrading its roster this upcoming NBA season.
The most important reason why kids should play competitive sports is that they teach them life lessons. For example, Sarah Davis, the author of “What Are the Benefits of Competitive Sports for Youth?” in her article argues that by playing competitive sports kids will learn life lessons. She claims,“...competitive sports can help kids learn life lessons
It is a simple, straight-forward game that anyone can learn and enjoy. And, after a few years, you begin to develop skill, and skill leads to success, which leads to more
I have played basketball on the varsity team for two years now (Introductory Phrase). Each year, and every practice has enhanced my abilities and has made me a better player. One of the things that I enjoy most about basketball is learning the plays and understanding the offense (Parallel). For me this is enjoyable because it strengthens your basketball IQ and you become more of a student of the game. The thrill of the games (OP) excites me and makes me try harder and play better every time.
also helps players improve concentration and encourages the development of teamwork. People dream of going to the NBA. It's such an exciting game, filled with buzzer-beaters, blowouts, and ankle breakers. So much can also be learned from the game, such as the correct way to shoot, play

I love to watch and play the game, basketball is a very entertaining sport and can be played by anyone. Basketball has many negative and positive things about it based on my opinion. Basketball is known as a good pastime in many people’s eyes but can also be seen as a passion for many others. Basketball in my opinion the best thing I can do with my friends to have fun while burning a few calories. I see basketball as a fun and easy way to have fun rather than sitting on the couch all day playing video games or watching television. One reason I love
Basketball is my favorite sport because I remember at a very young age of about three or four years old, in 1998, I first watched a National Basketball Association (NBA) game. I was watching when the Chicago Bulls was playing as I sat in the living room with my father and my uncles. I didn’t know what they were talking about, but my eyes were glued to the television when I saw Michael Jordan dunked on two people. His performance gave me the motivation and I started playing basketball to make a career out of it. I wanted to move my family out of the poverty without any financial worries so I stared practicing each day. Every day as I was on the basketball court playing, I used to wake up early in the morning dribbled the basketball from my house to the basketball court and into the park. I was about fourteen years old about to go to high school so I was practicing to make the tryouts. It was the summer time like around July 2009 and at first, I wasn’t good enough so, I told my mother that I needed a couch to work on my feet and left hand. She called one couch up and we had a one on one session to train me. After practicing, I went back to the courts and played a full court game with older and bigger guys. It was five on five and I was the youngest of them. I had a little jump shot, but I really had a back board shot. I was good with angles for a little man at that time, but I was only getting better. I started challenging grown men that were old enough to be my father. I lost some games, but won a lot plus my younger brother was always there with me. He used to stay on the sidelines watching because he couldn’t play with me. Yet, he was too young at the time to
