The complainant, Cindy Sproull, indicated the smoking and loitering behavior began on her street as early as 9 am. As such, I decided to be at her home at 9 am to witness the student’s actions, as well as discuss the complaint with her and receive a first person account of the problem. When I discussed my strategy with Assistant Chief Vaughan – which included obtaining a first-hand account of the issue, confronting possible offenders, and discussing proposed solutions with the Sproulls – she elected to join me. Prior to leaving for Frey Lake Rd, I spoke with Deputy Chief Stevens who told me he was informed of this complaint by Sgt. Massengill yesterday and although he could not remember specifics, he did remember her mentioning CPC Foust

Professor George Frisvold develops his argument by illustrating the facts through graphs. His use of statistics supports his point that current agricultural systems are insufficient in conserving water. Because of the current climate change, water conservation has gained importance. Frisvold presents analyses of current strategies and suggests how national level changes in order to provide the change in the government’s involvement in water conservation in agriculture. The intended audience is readers that are interested in the environment, and more specifically interested or involved in the conservation of natural resources. The issue of agriculture’s involvement in the environment has many different effects. In this precis writing process
I’m pretty sure Craig Spencer felt the exact same way when he ate at a public restaurant, rode the subway, and went bowling in Brooklyn and look where that has gotten him. Troops who are returning from West Africa are being quarantined just like the astronauts of Apollo 11 were quarantined and no one thinks or thought any less of them for doing so. I believe that it is more heroic of them to have taken the necessary precautions to protect even more people than they already have rather than to just puff out their chests and say they’re invincible. In an article called “Ebola-Quarantine Objections are Frivolous,” Law Professor Eugene Kontorovich elaborated on the fact that courts have continuously advocated for quarantines for infectious diseases like tuberculosis and smallpox.
Do teachers have a right to free speech in the workplace and can comments on personal beliefs and views be grounds for dismissal? In a fictional situation, teacher Ann Griffin is dismissed from her position as a tenured teacher after a conversation she had involving the Principal and Vice Principal in which she made the comment that she “hated all black folks.” Ann Griffin was teaching at a predominantly African-American school and after this heated conversation, the Principal Fred Watts recommended Griffin’s dismissal based on doubting her ability to treat students fairly and questioning her judgment and competency as a teacher. Was the Principal justified in dismissing Ms. Griffin? Should Ms. Griffin’s speech be protected as a First Amendment right? What precedence can be found both supporting Ms. Griffin’s dismissal and also to support her continued employment?
Claim number two is “most student labeled as having A.D.H.D are males and many are black males. But boys tend to be more active than girls, and African Americans are known for being movement oriented, tactile and kinesthetic” (Ford). This claim supports Donna Ford main argument by providing behavioral norms to one gender and ethnicity. when considering to diagnose the child with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, consideration of the norms of a gender and ethnicity of that student should factor into the decision.
I am tasked with responding to Lyn Smith’s complaint, and I am requesting your expertise for confirmation that my audience analysis has been done correctly.
I believe that the father made a stronger argument than Libby's argument because he is trying to teach Libby that failure is a part of life, while Libby's argument is that her father school do her school project so she could play in the All-State Championships. The father stated that learning how to cope with failure now will help her in the future more than playing in the championships ever could. Secondly, the father understands how Libby feels because when he was 15 he wanted to be student body president, he spends his allowance on signs and pulled all-nighters writing speeches. He lost by a landslide, but it taught him that he could recover from failure, it gave him the confidence to push himself as well as to try new things. Thirdly,
Marriage between two people doesn’t always have to be a woman and a man of the same race or religion. Throughout the years, there has been many newlyweds of different religions, race, and/or gender, but with these differences, the newlyweds still loved each other and got married no matter what anyone has said. Marriage has been shown throughout television, movies, stories and plays as well. One married couple that had a distinctive relationship was, Stef and Lena Adams Foster on the television show, The Fosters. Stef and Lena Adams Foster’s relationship is a very diverse one. Not only they are both women, but they are also interacial as well. Within the show, Stef and Lena Adams Foster’s relationship has dealt with many conflicts from people

In my point of view, I disagree with Rachels claims. Putting Rachel's claims into other words, anything you do with support can be considered the right thing. In fact, this claim will probably fit in many cases, such as president election and the jury. But it can't be true sometimes. For example, the "Blue Whale (game)." It is a "game" that administrators provide dangers challenges to players and torment them. The players will be suicide for the last missions. As I know, the "game" is spreading in many different nations. Why is this “game” occurring? Because it has many administrators as the supporter. In the back, they probably related to money dealing or people's unconcerned. I understand the morally right thing to do is what most people
When one chooses to write on a matter that seems to have been laid to rest decades ago their burden extensively lies not in trying to argue for their position, rather in showing the relevance of their position. This paper attempts to do both of these things when it comes to non-consensual sterilizations of women, specifically disabled women. A practice prominent in the 20th century, this paper examines coerced sterilizations from a feminist care ethics perspective and ultimately concludes that paternalistic arguments for this practice are in fact eugenic arguments, and thus renders coerced tubal litigations as unethical. Although neo-eugenics is starting to gain a number of followers for its genetic benefits, this is but a misconception of
In this essay I am going to be talking about the five key points in the Shapley Curtis debate. Firstly I would like to start off by just saying that the founded of celestial bodies ended the debate.
Arthur Caplan believes that doctors are people with high authorities and their words are held in a "higher standard", therefore, physicians should not be speaking of their own belief without proof. Purveying invalid science information will lead to unnecessary panic and in some cases during epidemic the patients will avoid the uses of vaccinations. The level of free speech is rated differently between doctors and people without medical licenses because doctors speak with authority and patients tends to listen. In Caplan's opinion, physicians who mislead people through speeches based on "anecdote, myth, hearsay, rumor, ideology" should have their medical licenses revoked; especially in incidents like measles epidemic.
Realistically the argument made by Ariana Prothero is that paying students might be a good thing, but stylistically it doesn't work in every case. Taking research from an outside source, about an incentive program in college where a man named Roland Fryer put six million dollars into eighteen thousand low income students to try to improve test performance. In the end, the takeaway is that students feel more entitled to have a reward of an output more so than input. Therefore meaning some students, test scores aren't going to improve, because they don't know how to improve them. So students would rather get money after they know what grade they have other than, having a requirement to meet. It's probably way too much pressure for them to have on themselves.
Starting up sex again after giving birth can be a fraught issue for new parents, including to the new mom, Coco Austin. Ice-T's wife just admitted that she have a very low libido after having her first child, Chanel.
