religion is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to an order of existence. Many religions worship one God. A God is a superhuman being or spirit worshiped as having power over nature or human fortunes. Like many religions, it has to be founded by someone who has had a revelation. Every great religion acknowledges revelation in the wide sense that its followers are dependent on the privileged insights of its founder or of the original group or individuals with which the faith began. In the essay I will explain how Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism were founded.

Jesus began his ministry at age 30 when he was baptized by John the Baptist, who declared him the Son of God. After baptism, Jesus went to the Judean desert to fast and meditate for 40 days and nights. The Devil tempted Jesus three times, once to turn stone to bread, another to cast himself off a mountain where angels would save him, and last to offer him all the kingdoms of the world. All three times, Jesus rejected the Devil 's temptation and sent him off.
Jesus returned to Galilee and made trips to other villages. During this time, several people became his disciples. Mary Magdalene became a disciple. He and his disciples traveled to a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The wedding host ran out of wine and Jesus 's mother came to him for help. Jesus refused to intervene, but then he relented and asked a servant to bring him large jars filled with water. He turned the water into a wine of higher quality than any served during the wedding.
Jesus continued preaching about the kingdom of God, the crowds grew larger and began to proclaim him as the son of David and as the Messiah. The Pharisees heard this and publicly challenged Jesus, accusing him of having the power of Satan. He defended his actions with a parable, then questioned their logic and told them such thinking denied the power of God, which only further hardened their resolve to work against him.

Jesus had left Judea and traveled through Samaria on the way to Galilee. While in Samaria, he met the woman at the well in Sychar . After spending two days in Sychar, he travelled on to Galilee. While there he healed a government official’s son.

He told how he would be betrayed by one of them and told how He would be denied by one of them. Herod the Great was the king and he heard that there was a baby that was named Jesus and he was the king of the Jews. Herod ordered to kill all the children in Bethlehem, but after the king’s death Jesus and his family went and settled in a town in Galilee called Nazareth. Years passes

Often times in our society we take one another for granted and treat each other with cruelty. Some of the times our best communication with one another is constant war, fights, and brutality to one another. Religion on the other gives us the opportunity to set aside our differences and come together as one. In order to do that we must believe religion works and set all concerns to the god or gods. Religions have become beneficial because it make things certain but also to put our uncertainty to the superior. Which means god will provide. Another way you or others can see this being affective is putting trust in the god and god’s. Back in the Early Middle Ages moving to the Dark Middle Ages, life was brutal and not choosing what religion you belong to makes it even harder for the individual. You had to believe and set aside your difference with religion.

Jesus was born during the reign of Herod the Great, who upon hearing of his birth felt threatened and tried to kill Jesus by ordering all of Bethlehem’s male children under age two to be killed. But Joseph was warned by an angel and took Mary and the child to Egypt until Herod’s death, where upon he brought the family back and settled in the town of Nazareth, in Galilee according to the Gospel of Matthew (2:1).
Jesus was tempted by Satan in Matthew Chapter 4 and Jesus spoke the word of God to him three times and the devil departed from him. Jesus relied upon the word of God instead of fist fighting or cursing as his defense against the devil’s attack.
Jesus was tired and weary from the pressure of facing the crowd day after day. He sought refuge across the lake on the top of some unknown mountain.
