I have been involved in music for as long as I can remember. I sing, play the clarinet in the band and I am learning to play the piano. I am a section leader in choir and band, and I have a lot of knowledge about music theory and choral music. Music is a big part of who I am, and that is why I chose this topic as my project. I also plan to pursue this as a career in the near future, and I feel that this project will help me to prepare for the many requirements this career holds.
For my paper, I plan to research the occupation of a choir director. I will research the education requirements, salary, job outlook, and overall summary of the occupation. I already have basic knowledge about this career; however, I hope to expand my knowledge with
Demonstrate understanding of relationships between music and the other arts, other disciplines, varied context, and daily life.
My Church Poetic Merit Essay Music is such a huge part of our lives. It can influence how we think, our attitude, or our maturity. We hear music at school, work, in the car, at home, and in other public places. Poetry nowadays is for the most part in the form of music. Our music is symbolic too.
What I set out to find is whether music can somehow benefit us in a way to help slow down the effects of aging on the brain. That is why I picked to research the New Horizons International Music Association. Because they too set out to see how the quality of adult amateurs might be affected if they were to begin participating in community music making.

Non gospel preachers talk a lot about human love. They talk a lot about our love for God, and our love for others. They don't talk much about Bible love, or how God's love empowers us to love others.
I had the privilege of going with the DBC High School choir on a mission trip for a week last month, and it was an experience I had never had before. There were almost 100 total people on the trip, and we had two buses that took us everywhere that week. This included 5 different hotels, fast food restaurants, two churches, one flash mob at a mall, and seven different juvenile detention centers or children’s homes. There were many hours of travel, lots of late nights doing bible study, and many times of putting up and breaking down risers, speakers, and microphones, whether we liked it or not. I have to say this was one of the most physically, spiritually, and mentally challenging weeks of my life.
The first and foremost thing I put on my assignment are the pictures of the bands Queen and Panic! At The Disco. I love music and guitar because they play a big role in my life. The bands I listen to sing and play about the things that we can’t exactly express to each other. Music really does help clear my mind and get my thoughts straight. When I was in eighth grade, I decided to learn how to play guitar so I
Dance is a universal language, there are no words being said but you can still feel something very powerful. Dance has been around for centuries, some of the earliest known records are paintings from nine thousand years ago in India. There are also some dancing figures from an Egyptian tomb that were found which were dated back to three thousand, three hundred BC. It is said that before the invention of written language, dance was the most powerful method to tell stories throughout generations. Is this why dance is still around after so many years, because it can portray amazing stories with no words? Today, we are going to explore the many reasons why dance, in the use of musical theatre, can make the difference between an amateur show and a Broadway show.
Thesis Statement: Music is an essential part of our lives and is important to the development and health of your body.
I’m one of the youth members at Bethesda Church of God Inc. would like to tell you that it has been a pleasurable experience being part of your choir repetitions. Unfortunately I will be making a transition from High School to College very soon. Not only that, in the next 5 months I won’t be in Brooklyn no more. Who knows I’m might not even be in New York State. I notice that you have seen me arriving to your choir repetitions late. The reason for this is that I have a lot on my back this senior year. That coming to your choir repetition will be an extra burden for me.For instance, as a 12th grader ready to graduate past January 2017 I got to spend extra hours studying for the SAT’s, Acts, SAT Biology Subject test. And, on top of that I got
Most people that live in the modern generation view choral music as old, boring harmonies whose composers died with kings. However, choral music is not just for the elderly singing hymns apathetically in the church pews on Sunday morning. Though the perception of it remains unenthusiastic among common listeners, the life of choral music is not as dead or boring as most would assume. Choral music is made modern, enjoyable, and vibrant through the works of contemporary composers. Although it is not as recognized in modern generations, brilliant vocal compositions and composers still exist today.
A choral ensemble is an organized group of singers, varying in size, that perform together with an orchestra or opera company. Choral ensembles have been around for thousands and thousands of years. They have been around for so long that the ancient Greeks used a chorus in their live Greek Dramas as a major part of their storytelling. Some may believe that a chorus just needs to have lovely singers in their group and they are good, but that is not the case. In a choral ensemble, numerous factors like teamwork, participation, attendance, and discipline can make or break a chorus and can extremely impact their sound.
I decided to do research on the topic of music production. Motivate audience: We listen to music often, at least when we are driving. Based on the audience analysis there is currently very little background information on the history, technology, or skills required to produce music, so it should be interesting to learn about the steps that go into putting together the songs we hear. Thesis statement: Music production is a complex process to result in the music that we listen to. This process has changed with technology, making it both easier and more difficult in different ways.
Mrs. Bartle employs a little bit of four of each of the methods shared in (the vocal pedagogy) class. She uses a lot of the Westminister method but borrows from the others. The others she borrows from are Christiansen, Fred Warning and Wilson/Klein. Much of what she writes, is from her own life’s career experiences as a choral director. The first subject she deals with is the director’s attitude. A director should have a positive attitude. (p. 3, Bartle)
People can't travel around the world and be able to communicate with everyone through their native language, but Music! It is the one thing that isn't solely reliant upon a thesis, but emotion and how we were born to think.
