A childcare provider is someone who helps the children in their community grow and develop at the appropriate stages by age. Some children spend more time at preschool than at home, and with teachers surrounding them they can be nourished, properly fed, appropriately educated as well as allowed to play and explore. Jennifer Patterson is the ECE Child Care Labs Coordinator for The College of Southern Idaho. She oversees the activities planned for the children, organizes the funding, and most importantly, makes sure that her centers are a safe place to go for each and every child enrolled.
