G-Lee did a great job of charcterizing the Ewells Lee did a very great job of charcterizing the Ewells. I think Lee did a great job of charcterizing because I could really picture what Bussis looks like and what he acts like. I picture the Ewells looking very dirty.
Throughout the novel, Lee seems to make more instictive decisions, while Longstreet’s decisions seem more calculated and logical. Longstreet’s remark on the battle occurring the
All of the actors in Miracle are cast appropriately. Each and every one lived up to the
There are people that agree with that and many that didn’t think that it was so great. It was nice to know the background information on each of the character. This helped me know why they were there and why they would stay to risk their lives. It was clear that some of the members did not accept Skinner because of his color at first. It was nice to see everyone bond and even accept him and even apologize to him. They my not have liked each other at first, but at the end they risked their lives for each other. I also enjoyed the scenes with the dogfights. I was on the edge of my seat during everyone of those scenes hoping that none of them dould die and that they would defeat the enemy. I was sad whenever one of the members of the squadron died. I think that i felt this way because of their stories and how they all got so close. It would be horrible to lose someone that someone would risk their life to save. I would say that this team is kinda of like the team in Fast and Furious because they may be very different but at the end of the day they would risk their lives for each other. It was nice that there was kind of a love story also thrown into the movie. It provided sort of a break from all the war and sadness. It was funny when Rawlings was trying to impress the children and the girl he liked. It was also sweet when he tried to learn French for her, and she tried to learn English for him. I feel that this
The first area, where Capote and Lee vary, is their use of style to create tone. Due to two extremely diverse plotlines,
None of his characters share the same personality with one another because it is not true to look, act, or even talk like another person. Lee describes all his characters to be unique as well as the places and the problems that occur within his books. Harper Lee shows his true creativity through the way he fixes the problems as well. For example in his book To Kill a Mocking Bird, Lee portrays a situation in which an African American one armed man rapes a girl and beats her. He shows this situation to not be true when taken to court by saying that Tom Robinson is not strong enough, and he does not have two hands to choke and beat Mayella Ewell and there was no sexual evidence to say she was raped. We can now draw conclusion that Harper Lee is a creative man simply through this one tragic moment in his book to help an innocent man be shown to the audience of how his disability does get in the
On 23 March 1945 Cade was on his way to work at a construction site for the Manhattan Project when he and four others was involved in a traffic accident at Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He was a cement worker for the J.A. Jones Construction Company. Cade presented at the Oak Ridge Hospital with fractures of right patella, right radius and ulna and left femur. Ebb Cade received the injections at the Oak Ridge Hospital on the Clinton Engineer Works reservation at Oak Ridge, Tennessee,”Joseph Howland injected Cade with 4.7 micrograms of plutonium forty one times the normal lifetime exposure”(Washington 216). Cade became known “ as HP-12 Human Product-12( Faden 5), and was the first person to be injected with Pu-239. Stafford Warren, director of the Manhattan
In the Outsiders I think the actors played their roles correctly especially Tom Cruise who played Two bit. I felt like the they picked the best actors to play the roles of the characters from the book. The death scenes
As controversial as the flesh and blood Malcolm X was in life, so was the film version of his life as depicted by Lee. Lee made sure to not make the film just based on entertainment purposes as he focused on Malcolm X’s life and achievements by depicting actual events into his movie.
The movie also makes the EOD team seem like their heroes and they travel around by themselves, without being able to contact anyone from the base, when in fact, the team would have access to back up and very rarely went on missions just the three of them. This movie overall seemed to be award seeking instead of getting the raw content of what really happened in
Do the director and screenwriter do a good job of representing the character of Bobby?
Lee makes excellent use of these shots as a way of bringing the viewer into the action of the movie. His use of high and low angle, point of view shots both heighten tension and give the feeling that the characters
A lot of verbal diarrhea happened all to set up a three cross involving the character of Satchel. While the twist ending is pretty good, the road to getting there could have been so much better. Sofia Boutella is back fresh on the heels of leading the critical flop The Mummy remake and honestly, she is criminally underused here. Not only that but I would have to believe as French spy she would have died much sooner than she did. James McAvoy delivers as he usually does, James proves once again that few in Hollywood can bring a colorful character to live like he can. As for the lead, Charlize Theron is good but not great. Her role is very monotone and really doesn’t allow her to do much but be emotionless and show off what she learned in combat training.
Every movie has their own villain, but “To Kill a Mockingbird” creates a new perspective. As the movie begins, Bob Ewell is revealed to be a ruthless and drunken man. In the first scene Bob appears in, the camera catches certain aspects of his evil motives. The director plays no music in order for the watcher to carefully hear the antagonizing words of Bob Ewell. He clearly shows the watcher that Bob is the adversary of the movie. The positioning of the camera consists of close, crooked angles to represent his “crooked” views. Bob Ewell’s voice sounds rough and unclear, emphasizing his spiteful intentions.
The characters in this movie were great actors. They acted so realistic that it looked as if it was occurring live from the scene of the action. All of the characters were excellent , especially the women when they got their hair cut off in the concentration camp.
The actors are believable in their roles. Steven Martin who acts as George Banks is outstanding in his role, he acts very well, so the audience knows his feelings, and feels sorry for him. The stars are not the main reason for me to see the film, but the title is.
