William Shakespeare’s play, Macbeth, shows the rise and fall of a noble solider who allows his obsession with power to overtake him, and this is no better shown than in Act 3 Scene 2 of the play. In this short scene, Macbeth changes from his conservative, hesitant mindset to the crazy and power hungry mind of a killer that he’s infamously known as throughout time. Earlier in play, Lady Macbeth was in the dominant role in the plotting phase of King Duncan’s murder. She is seen as the more aggressive one in their quest for the thrown. Macbeth was more reserved in how he wanted to obtain the prophecies he was told by the three witches, however; all of this changes in scene 2.
