Central Delaware Riverfront District is a place with rich history. This article is mainly about comparing the master plans of this area issued in the late 20th Century and 2011.
As part of the background, I’d like to mention that the development of Central Riverfront District could be traced back to 1967. The Philadelphia City Planning Commission made a plan to build the I-95 Express Highway in that year. It was a postwar interstate highway happening with the automobile growth, serving the purpose of development out. But it also isolated the riverfront (which was mainly the industrial area at that time) with the center city, putting the future development of the waterfront district into a negative position.

In the late 20th Century about 1980, there was a master plan for Central Delaware Riverfront issued by Philadelphia City Planning Commission. It stated consideration for the whole planning from the aspects of transportation, land use, development phasing, recreation & open space and so on, by previously studying the existing condition and analyzing development potential of the site. The background of the plan was that Philadelphia entered the post-industrial era because of industry decline. Some of the piers were no longer in use and many factories were moved to other places. The riverfront district needed to be redeveloped.
After 30 years, the Planning Commission approved another master plan for Central
Creekview at River Run community is located one mile south of Arapahoe Road, at the intersection of Parker Road and Broncos Parkway. This is a two-story house build around 2003-2004 with a frame construction. Some of the house have basement and some don’t have it. This community is a single-family home where 1-4 people live in the house. The house attaches with two car garages, great patio and garden area. The community is managed by Home Owner Association (HOA) to make this community well organized; therefore, the selling price won’t go down. The HOA has responsibilities such as cleans the snow in major road, keeps the street clean, lawn the grass in public area, and monitor condition of the house. Therefore, houses in this community are well-maintained. Even though the house has a two-car garage, some of the owners still park the car in the driveway. Streetlights, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, speed limit signs, pediatricians crossing, trash can, and fire hydrants are visible around the neighborhood. There is one house is under contract with new owner. Overall, the community is clean and safe.
The Town's goals within the C-1 district is to retain historical characteristics of the downtown business area by preserving existing structures constructed prior to the year 1930. Remodeling and construction is encouraged to reflect the goals of the zone district; to enhance the town's attraction to residents, tourists, and visitors; to serve as a support and stimulus to business and industry; to reflect a pedestrian orientation; and to enhance property values.
Here in Perth, we are having new inner-city developments that everyone is looking forward to. These developments are fantastic and will bring more tourism and vibrancy to the Perth City. However, a problem that they have is the possibility of destroying the river through increasing turbidity, higher temperatures and more acidity. This is why Perth and its people need fifty million dollars, so that we can protect the Swan River while still being able to build new developments.

When the competition for a vital resource is between residents and crops, human health and wellbeing takes precedence as a matter of policy. When this competition is between one group of residents and another group of residents, the only solution is to spread the resource even thinner often leading to inequities among citizens of differing financial or political influence. Decision-makers should have a zero tolerance agenda concerning any threat to our groundwater resources. This paper proposes that future growth needs to take into account our dependence on surface and subsurface water resources when planning developments and incorporating water resource studies into legislation meant to guide further development in New Jersey. The impact on citizens affected by new construction may not be felt until a crisis occurs and then it will be too late. With the remaining southwestern agricultural counties ripe for development it's never too late to change our vision of the landscape and refuse to gamble with the future needs of our citizens.

The San Joaquin River Valley Project represents a comprehensive long term effort to restore the flow of the San Joaquin River. After reading the article, “River Plan Too Fishy for my Taste Buds” by Bill McEwen I chose and decided to use this article because it has plenty of reasonable facts. Bill McEwen emerged as veteran journalist who has worked in various positions for the Bee since 1980. He grew up in the community and knows how everything works. The article McEwen wrote operated and published in the Fresno Bee in March 6, 2015 in a city surrounded by farms. Fresno offers big anti business and government since the surroundings consist of mostly farms. Low and middle class people promote the highest population, meaning that they read from

Mystic River is a film that was taken from an adaptation of a book written by Dennis Lehane. It is directed by Clint Eastwood who worked with Brian Helgeland who was the writer alongside him for this film. Eastwood’s career as a director began in 1971 with the movie Play Misty for Me. Downtown San Diego was founded in 1850 by William Heath Davis. Davis aimed to create a waterfront city center, located in what is today known as the Gaslamp Quarter. After Davis planned failed in 1867 a man named Alonzo Horton, “Determined to build a new downtown on the site of Davis’ failure, Horton purchases 800 acres of land on the waterfront at auction for approximately 33 cents an acre” (Gaslamp). The 1960’s saw the decline of downtown San Diego as many residents decided to live in suburbs such as La Jolla and Coronado. It wasn’t until the mid 1980’s when downtown San Diego started to truly begin its revitalization. In 1975 led by republican mayor, Pete Wilson, the Centre City Development

The Graphic Regional Plan of 1929, as stated by the author of the “General Retrospect and Summary,” was a result of an eight-year study undertaken by many of the most powerful men in New York. This plan was privately funded by the Russell Sage Foundation and had no governmental authority. It not only examined New York, but three states, twenty-two countries, and four hundred and thirty six local and municipal governments. The main focus of this plan was to ensure that the region would remain the epicenter of national economic activity and that Manhattan would become the first postindustrial city. For this to occur the first step was to propose an expansive and intricately linked road system, which today are known as the Triborough Bridge,
In 1418, a group of Catholic fathers in Florence Italy met to discuss a troubling issue with the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral. This Cathedral had a hole in the top that was horrible for the scorching sun and the heavy rains that penetrated Florence. This motivated the fathers to hold a competition to see who could construct a dome that would not only have to be 150 feet across but also would have to start being constructed 180 feet atop the existing walls. The architect with the best plan would be the one to supervise the building of a new dome for this cathedral. Out of all the leading architects, the winner was a blacksmith named Filippo Brunellschi, a blacksmith who promised to build not one, but two domes without using expensive scaffolding.
Throughout history women have viewed as people who needed to fit the role that a man predestined upon them. From cultural expectations to media, women are portrayed by the need to express who they are. Women are getting affected mentally and physically due to stereotypes because women are being portrayed as the weaker link in society.
