The piano guys are a YouTube channel that mainly focuses on preforming covers of popular songs on the piano and cello. While their channel focusses mainly on music their video editing is spectacular. Their choice of scenery complements the music choice quite well.
Cello Wars was one of my favorite videos that I watched. It seemed like they had a fun time making and editing this video. In my opinion, the editing in this video was the best of all of their videos. I enjoyed the slow start of the video and the gradual climb in tempo. This video had very good changes in tone of the music based on what was going on around them. Me and My Cello was also a great video. I quite enjoyed his cello cover for Happy Together. This was another video that seemed like they had a fun time putting together.
Beethoven’s 5 secrets was quite a bit different from the first two videos I watched. It didn’t seem as fun as the first two. However, it was still a great video with wonderful music. The editing was still very good, and the scenery they used was beautiful. There Taylor Swift Begin Again video was similar to Beethoven’s 5 secrets. It focused more on the music than the editing, but the transitions

The piano playing in this video was fantastic. I was surprised at how well the piano and cello seem to complement each other in this video. The fast tempo of this song kept me very entertained while listening. They didn’t edit this video as much as some of their others, but I enjoyed that they filmed at The Great Wall of China. I thought it was a good choice of scenery for the song. Let it Go was another good video in which The Piano Guys picked perfect scenery to complement their music choice. The all white cello and Piano plus the snowy all white background fit together perfectly. The piano and cello went together very well in this video, but I think the way he played the cello made it out shine the piano during this
I like the second video best, I think its because the music wasn't so loud throughout the whole video. I like that it didn't start out with music and slowly got into. The music in the first video was loud in the beginning and stayed that way throughout the whole video. I like the pictures in both videos they where both scientific and focused on earth. Since the video is honoring the Astronomer Care Sagan, I think that they were both appropriate. I learned that music makes a big difference and its important to coordinate it with the pictures and the speech, it needs to have the right tone.
Overall I actually enjoyed the piece more than I thought I would. It had a nice tempo that allowed listeners to be engaged and even when the volume dropped the violins played a softer texture as if they were inviting you to listen closer and pay more attention. Generally, the theme was also joyful which I took notice of and enjoyed. Lastly, I didn’t notice any musical mistakes, and thought the piece was well played.
Movement quality is a very important aspect of any performance. Although, I thought all the pieces were astonishing, I felt the movement quality for each performance was slightly different. In “Let me in. Let me out”, many of the movements performed in were done in a ripple effect to peaceful music. Also, the performers incorporated their breath into their movement as the lights changed from light to
Kuenne did an amazing job in making and editing this documentary about his friend Andrew and Baby Zachery. The different film techniques he used throughout the documentary made it more emotional for the audience and he got his message across clearly of the impact Andrew had on family and
The Hero’s Journey is a theme I was somewhat familiar with prior to viewing the video. Although I haven’t actually read most of them many of my favorite films are from literary works. Many of them were named in the video. I was able to recognize the similar themes in The Wizard of Oz, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones and Harry Potter.
On March 10th, 2017, The First Ontario Performing Arts Center showcased Anagnoson and Kinton, piano duo. Upon entering the hall, placed in the middle of the stage, where two butterfly positioned grand pianos. There was a universal anticipating mood for the music that is to be performed prior to the commencement of the concert. The duo took us through the timeline of their careers, playing pieces from significant times in their profession.
My favorite part of the concert was the second part. The group played a song called “Body and Soul.” The guitarist played slowly before the others joined. They created a relaxed atmosphere with an old-school effect. All the notes were legato except the melodies of the drum which was staccato. The combination added character to the piece and made it entertaining. At 19:00, the pianist played briskly but beautifully, then the guitarist did the same. The notes became high pitched and the tempo and dynamics increased. After the guitar stopped, everything went into decrescendo and the melodies from the bass and drums became choppy (staccato). Overall the piece surrounded the theme of dependence and how it affects one’s happiness or strength. The piano and the guitar brought the happy aspect to the piece and without it, everything weakened and became uncoordinated. Initially it celebrated peace,
Not only did I appreciate the talent that it took to make a lot of the pieces, but I also liked a lot of their topics.
I think that the performer’s ability was appropriate for their location and for their audience because the tone quality of the musicians sounded very rich and clean. When I listened to the performance, I was able to hear all of the different parts of the piece clearly, which has made me much more conscious of the balance and dynamics of each phrase when I play. The texture of the pieces played was very rich and full because an orchestral piece is designed to have a good balance of instruments and good range of frequencies of sound that has lots of different things happening at the same time.
I really like this video because Olga spoke about her past and how does she feel at that moment after she helped many children. I believe that her story is interesting and inspired because she gave people the way where they can find joy and happiness
This is a very funny video, I never thought that Daniel Radcliffe likes sing, even less rap, he don’t looks like a rap fan, but he does it pretty well. Actually this is a song with a high degree of difficulty, because have many words and is singing very fast. I’m not Enimen’s fan but I like some of his songs and I must to recognize that I have always thought that he is a talent writer, his music shows creative and in some cases contient social criticism.
Watching this performance was the most inspirational and admiring show that I have ever seen. The amount of work each and everyone of this students put into their work was unexplainable. Each dance told a story. Two of my favorites were “Sistas of Sorrow “ and “527”. They both expressed a powerful story that was just breath taking. With their customs that perfectly gave you feel of the time that the story was taking place.
I went through a grieving stage after my mom’s diagnosis, and I saw people going through the similar stages in life. I was able to see how they dealt with the pain and how they were able to conquer their pain they were going through. I saw people get through it the same way I did, acceptance, family love and support, and time. To some people, those things mean nothing, but to me, they meant everything. I really enjoyed the video because of those reasons. It was nice to know that they too, were able to get through their whatever they needed with a new outlook on
Resembling an acoustic piano, the low keys are weighted heavier than the high keys. It has a memory that is filled with 50 classic piano songs, as well as the music book, “50 Greats for the Piano.” Fast and simple configuration and navigation is created through the Controller App for an iOS device, providing a rich graphical user interface. Whether the player is ready to record their next number one selling single or simply practice one hand at a time, the 2-track song recorder is a great extra with this
I do not know if I would say that the works were effective. To me, the story line of the video was very confusing, and I have a feeling that a majority of the audience felt the same way. The tempo was actually pretty fast at times, but a little bit slower and calmer at others. There was obviously harmony since there was three instrument which created a
