The three strengths I would use will be local family support, church activities and two parent family. The first strength would be local family support because both parents and Margret brother lives by them. Thomas and Margret parents only babysit when necessary because they are elderly. The second strength would be church activities and support because family plays an active role in church and Margret attends Sunday school class for women. The last strength would be two parent family because Margret was raised by her grandmother but when her grandmother passed away she went to foster care. Therefore while in foster care she gained a mother, father and little brother. Thomas was raised by both of his parents and they both had good jobs. I believe the major problem for this family would be pay more attention to your kids. The reason because how school keep sending notes home and you never get back with school. Margret and Thomas both should follow up with school concerning their children because something could have been seriously wrong. …show more content…
The reason I say that everything involves around Cedric because of his poor hygiene/ solid clothing, stealing school supplies, juice money from other classmates, notes getting sent home and rash behind his neck. Cedric mother explained that her washing machine is broke, she don’t know how to use laundromat that’s why Cedric don’t have no clean clothes. The rash was also brought to the mother attention and Mrs. Dobson told social worker she thought it came from spring grasses. The reason why Mrs. Dobson was not responding to the notes because Cedric mother feels like school
“The strengths perspective embraces the principle that all clients possess them. Strengths can be the client’s willingness to accept help, the client’s positive attitude, their ability to overcome hardships in the past…” (Arnold, 2008, p. 1) In the strengths perspective, the strengths of a person to resist the stressor and problem areas in their lives are what the focus is on. (Hutchinson, 2016, p. 111) What this means is that it is assumed that regardless of who the person is or what they have done, they have strengths that can help them
The Herman’s biggest strength is collectively expressing their own personal feelings. By them being able to express themselves I’m able to get a clear understanding of the areas needed to be focused on. Buddy’s strength is that he has a motivation of wanting to change in order to not have to leave his home again. For example, Buddy is eager to start helping his mom around the house with chores. Buddy is also requesting a reward system for chores he
Strength is that part of your intellect or nervous system that is more effective and productive than other parts. Throughout your experience of life, your actions or reactions drive different thoughts, behavior and emotion in your brain. The requests that are processed more efficiently and rapidly are known as your strengths. Nowadays, strengths-based approaches to work and life are gaining a lot of popularity and often they are used to improve leadership and create more productive and efficient work teams.
Strengths: the conclusion is made based off of his experience, and he was able to find a direction in order to improve his situation
Strength was not just physically being strong but emotionally being able to keep themselves together. In Romeo and Juliet, Juliet had to try and keep herself together when she knew that Romeo was going to be banished after he killed her cousin Tybalt. She was being as strong as she could before she went to Friar Laurence for advice. After she left the church she knew that she was going to have to be strong and lie to her family about her marriage with Paris and that it was not going to happen. After she had taken the poison and Romeo found her in the tomb he had to try and be strong as well, but he just could not live without her, so he killed himself to be with her. Strength is also a theme for the book The Odyssey. Odysseus left his whole family behind when he went to war. His mother could not deal with the fact that he might have been killed in the war so she tried to be strong but she later committed suicide. Penelope also was strong and raised her child while her husband was gone to war and lived everyday as if her husband was still alive. Telemachus was pretty strong too because he had no father to tell him how to be a man, all he had was the men that were trying to marry his mother. Strength was a big part of both books. In real life being strong is important. Not only in a relationship, but in any matter. If your parents are going through a divorce, that could also be an example of you being strong. Strength is more than just physical strength, it is also
Cedric has a brother who served in the Army, but has post-traumatic stress disorder. His sister suffers from schizophrenia and have been hospitalized for suicide several times. Cedric mother have been in a mental hospital most of his childhood. His paternal mother is suffering from schizophrenia
When it comes to using the strength perspective it’s about building on strengths that a person has. When clients and social workers sit down one of the first things they discuss is the strengths the clients have. It doesn’t matter if the client has seven strengths or a couple of strengths. The important thing is to start somewhere. An example of using the strength perspective for a client is they have a negative support system. The strength perspective of this situation is that client can make friends and build a support system. In my opinion, I like the strength perspective because it shows the clients that they can find a little bit of good even in a bad situation.

The youth explained she did not turn in all her work and had problems with a textbook. Jordan did not inform anyone that she had problems or issues in her class. Mrs. Baxter challenged the youth because she had several school visits. Jordan expressed the fear of the unknown as the reason for her
In this family, there are 5 strengths identified based on the referral. First of all, responsibility is identified with Susan when she kept all prenatal and WIC appointments. The other strength would be described as futuristic, when Susan is planning to go back to school. She is able to set a goal and make plans for herself and the family. Resourcefulness is also
The first component, strengths, are tangible or intangible qualities, capabilities, or features helping the organization accomplish its mission or objectives. A few of CHN’s strengths are its adaptability to change, the company’s reputation and ability to bring information to homeschoolers, its wide base all over the state, and the elected Board of Trustees. CHN’s ability to adapt to changes is one of the major strengths. The current Board of Trustees management of the company is not only diverse, but productive. They work well together. The company’s reputation and ability to provide homeschoolers with the right information at the right time it needed is vital when asked. Finally, the membership is not in one central location, which brings different views and scenarios of information into the company, providing more accurate responses to questions people need answers to.

The bond of the women and the land is one that is seen throughout the book. There is a connection the land and how the women find there women strength in the novel.
