Dave, I have been able to inspect 7 units at Greenbrier Condos so far. Every unit I inspected did not have the fresh air intake vent on the hot water heaters. I had Gary Matson with Isaac Contracting to give me an estimated price to cut two 12 x 12 vent holes per Custom air. One vent will need to be floor level and one at ceiling level. The cost for installing the vents and j channel will be around $500.00. We can install a louvered door in these units and the door would cost around $600.00 for door labor and painting. The units on the ground floor will be a challenge for the vent installation due to the lack of wall space. I have included some pictures of a ground floor unit. The louvered door would be the easiest and least destructive.

Floor registers are often positioned near outside walls to allow heat to fully flow back through your home. Ceiling registers are placed centrally in a room or between the center and external walls. Benefits for the house is that this system is designed to heat every room, meaning no cold spots in the house, resulting in a much more comfortable home. It is also highly efficient is all weather which is different to reverse cycle systems that are likely to lose efficiency when the temperature really drops outside but ducted gas systems remain unaffected. This reduces
As you aware, this firm represents the interests of the Spinnaker Tower Condominium Association (hereinafter “Spinnaker”). It is my understanding that Jefferson Grounds, LLC would like to complete construction of a concrete apron in the Harbortown Community later this year. It is my understanding that Jefferson-Grounds, LLC (hereinafter “Jefferson”), has requested that Spinnaker open up Jib Lane in order to accommodate traffic within the Harbortown Community during the construction of the apron. Does the Board of Directors of a Michigan Condominium Association or HOA have authority to deviate from the Master Deed, Bylaws or restrictive covenants?
My husband and I relocated to this area in 2006. He had accepted a job offer in Martinsville, Virginia, which is right over the North Carolina/ Virginia line. We shopped for houses every weekend for over a year trying to find a home that had everything we needed and that allowed him to be close to his office. However, in 2008 we purchased a home in Stoneville, North Carolina, because of the prices of housing in Virginia. We used deductive reasoning in our price comparisons that enable us to determine that the Virginia housing market was not going to work out for us.
I responded to 410 South Brundidge Street in reference to a suspicious circumstance call. Upon arrival, I spoke with Michael Peacock. Peacock advised that he heard a loud "boom" and someone going through the residence. Peacock stated that he just thought it was one of his roommates. Peacock stated that someone started kicking his room door and he grabbed his knife and ran to the bathroom. While in the bathroom, Peacock called 9-1-1 and locked the door. Peacock couldn’t advise on anything missing at this time. There was a busted out window in the back of the unit. Photos were taken on my body cam.

Regency Pointe is the Premier Senior Living Community in the South. Located near the banks of the Coosa River, this picturesque community is nestled among rolling hills, scenic forest, and natural wild flowers. Affordable comfort and classic charm make it an easy choice for seniors, such as residents Tom and Charlotte McKenzie. The McKenzie’s favorite thing about Regency Pointe? “The landscaping! They do a beautiful job at landscaping; the bushes and plantings are really great and they are always cutting the grass and replanting the flowers, usually before it’s even needed, in my opinion.” said Mr. McKenzie.

Dogs may be a mans best friend, but their waste is not. For the residents of One Brooklyn Bridge Park Condominiums, their ongoing matter of waste layering all parts of where they call home has become an epidemic. Having to indoor walking through corridors and lobbies littered with feces, urine, and other dog waste on a daily basis has caused extreme discomfort among residents, as well as being exceedingly expensive and time consuming to clean. As a response to this persistent problem the board has decided to implement an ordinance that all dogs living in the building must have their DNA registered. Through a service called Poo Prints the board can send register each dogs DNA and send in samples of waste for DNA testing. Then the board can discover
As a Toronto condominium owner, you have many benefits but you are also exposed to unique risks. Unlike a single-family homeowner, you have a number of policies in force between your personal insurance and the condo corporation insurance. You need to make sure that this insurance overlaps so as not to let risk seep through the seams.
To add ventilation, you can flank your centerpiece with casement replacement windows. Several smaller operable windows – think, sliders, awnings or hoppers – installed beneath or above a fixed window adds decorative accents and allows for healthy ventilation. And, although you don't want to block the view, adding a simple grille pattern to the operable windows will incorporate a subtle layer of visual interest into your decorating plan.
