Case Analysis: Dave Armstrong (A)
Case Summary:
This case is about Dave Armstrong, a 29 year old second year MBA student of Harvard Business School. Immediately after his graduation from a small liberal arts college in Texas, he started working for Thorne Enterprises as a computer Programmer. After eighteen months in the job, he quit to go into life insurance business in Amarillo. He applied to Harvard Business school but hadn’t considered what he would do, once accepted, he decided to go there as he and his wife wouldn’t have to compromise on their lifestyle as he would still be receiving renewal income from his old policy holders.
Now, he is 3 months away from his graduation and he has three job prospects

Dave would get 45000 dollars as securities analyst till the original position is available in 6-12 months. Dave’s wife wants him to choose this job as this does not require any investment and is a fairly secure job not involving any risk or uncertainty.
According to Dave’s perspective, to satisfy his personality aspects and aspirations, he should choose Job A. However, according to his wife’s wishes, she would want him to choose Job C, as it is safer and more reliable.
Hence, we must do a weighted analysis of all his important attributes and do a comparison of all the three jobs. We also need to understand that Job A and Job B will have 2 different situations each, a situation if all goes well (high) and a situation if nothing goes well (low)

Therefore, Dave should choose Job B as it has the highest value according to the weighted analysis of his desired
On this 9/3/15 worker visited the residence of Mr. Alvin Higgins, for the purpose of making first victim contact. Mr. Greg Nunn, RN with New Beacon Hospice greeted worker outside of the residence. Mr. Nunn stated he called the residence about 3 1/2 hours before arriving and Ms. Betty Griffith was not home. However, her daughter Gina Craven and her boyfriend, Kenneth Woods was at the home. Tommy Ray James, the defendant, was stopped by an officer while driving and after failing to provide insurance the defendant admitted to drinking alcohol and open containers inside the vehicle and then the defendant was then placed under arrest, put in handcuffs, and advised of his rights State v. In pages 172 – 256 David R. Dow takes the reader into his life as he attempts to save Ezekiel Green from being executed. In an attempt to prove greens innocence, Dow decided to have green take a polygraph test. Greens results from the polygraph test shows he is telling the truth that he takes partial responsibility for the Quakers murders. He claims he did hire someone to kill a person but he killed the wrong family, that family being the Quakers. Dow and his team decided to send an appeal to the Supreme Court for them to wait on making a decision on Greens case until there’s a ruling in the Alabama vs. Nelson case. Michael Brown, a young African-American male who with his associate had just robbed a convenience store of some cigarillos, encounter Officer Darren Wilson of the Ferguson police department. Officer Wilson tells Mr. Brown and his associate to move to the sidewalk and he sees that Mr. Brown fits the description of a suspect in a convenience store theft. Then Officer Wilson proceeds to make a call to dispatch regarding both men, he puts his vehicle in a position to block both men as well as traffic. An altercation ensued hereafter between Officer Wilson and Mr. Brown because Mr. Brown tried to reach for Mr. Wilson’s firearm. During the altercation two shots are fired by Officer Wilson, one bullet grazes Mr. Brown’s thumb and the other misses. Mr. Brown then runs away from the vehicle; Officer Wilson follows in pursuit of Mr. Brown. Mr. Brown then stops and turns around and runs towards Officer Wilson, at this point Officer Wilson stops as well and fires several shots at Mr. Brown. Mr. Brown is killed from the gunshot injuries.
