The Levi Jordan Plantation was established in 1848 and was abandoned in about 1888. Some artifacts that were found on the plantation were Coins, Rings, Bone Saw Frame, and Slave Tag. Some caches were found, in them were shells, animal bones, wine bottles, copper, metal objects, cast iron pans, grapes, and tobacco pipes. Some pots were also found in what is thought to be the Blacksmith's Cabin, next to the Hearth. It was probably used to bake clay and for warmth. In the blacksmith's Cabin Bullet Molds, Metal Tools, Arrowheads, and some toys were found, leading people to believe that there were children there. The arrowheads were probably not used for hunting because

Three miles east of Sunray Park and Casino in Farmington, New Mexico there is a little structure similar to a shed secluded by gloomy perished trees and has a dirt road covered with gravel leading up to it and other residences that include trailers and houses where people live, horse corrals where horses are rounded up, and farming land for growing crops. The dirt road is just off Highway 64 across from Dollar General and this road is Rd 5364. The building is a place where people meet occasionally for shows or just to simply practice. There is a white trailer next to it with green grass in its lawn and vehicles parked outside, there is a dark gate that surrounds this area that is rusted with metal sheets on it with some junk inside its premises.
Six years ago, my family and I went to Turner Falls Park in Davis, Oklahoma. We arrived at the park early in the morning and got ready to go swimming. I went to the restroom and got changed. When we were ready, we left to go swimming we walked on a bridge to get to the swimming area, there was a huge waterfall and we went swimming under it. After that we went to another swimming area that had two big slides, we swam there for about and hour then went to our camping area to eat. The next day we went hiking on trails and also went to a castle that was made of stone. We spent the rest of the day swimming and looking around the park. It was a great experience and It would be great to go again. In this essay you will be reading about history, a physical description

3. Is your 4x4 coffe still not steering your sweet tooth in the right direction? Good news, and even better for us chocaholics. You can add your supreme touch to any drink, just ask for that sweet sweet shot of whipped cream. Maybe you've just had your weekly near death experience entering the parking lot because someone hasn't had their sip of nectar yet and you need to bump it up to chocolate whipped cream and even add one of their many flavour shots, the choice is all yours.
Water is vital to the survival of man. Settlers fought over it, farmers depend on it, and communities rely on it. Fort Huachuca and Sierra Vista are no exception. Located in one of the driest states in the U.S., they rely on the San Pedro River watershed for water. Barbara Tellman and Diane Hadley’s (1999) book Crossing Boundaries, talks of travelers in the 1800s who were amazed to see cottonwood lined streams of the San Pedro after traveling for days in desert uplands (p.11). Fort Huachuca was established because of the water source at the foot of the Huachuca Mountains, needed by Captain S.M. Whiteside, his troops and their horses (Price, 2003, p31). In 1902 Congress enacted the National Reclamation Act, signed by President Theodore Roosevelt. The Act recognized the importance of water to western development. Sierra Vista continues to grow, the use of ground water increases causing the water table to drop. As the water table drops, more human, plant and animal life are affected. To understand the significance of water in the Sierra Vista/ Fort Huachuca area, it is important to know where the water comes from, why it is so important and how it can be protected. Sierra Vista’s water is not infinite. There may not be enough

However, stories aren’t the only important aspects of Apachean mythology. Like many other Native American tribes around the U.S., the Apache often incorporate natural landmarks into their sacred lives. For the Mescalero tribe, the Sierra Blanca, Guadalupe, Three Sisters and Oscura mountains are all sacred sites. According to the Our Culture page on the Mescalero Apache Tribe website, “These four mountains represent the direction of everyday life for our Apache people. Our grandparents would often speak of the place called White Mountain. It was there that the creator gave us life and it is a special place. It was on White Mountain, according to legend, that White Painted Woman gave birth to two sons, Child of Water and Killer of Enemies.
The name of my community is Upwood and what makes it safe is that there are electrical fences all around the community that only electrocute zombies, we also have guns incase somebody wants to act up. We decided to stay in transportation issues, but if Upwood starts to crumble, then we’ll have no choice but to leave. Considering the fact that there’s probably very little biotic factors, which are living things and abiotic factors, which are nonliving things, we’d just have to adjust to the environment as best as we can. Since Upwood has increased by 25% in the last year, two major problems that we have is a slight case of overpopulation and a shortage of food until otherwise. A population is a group of individuals of a species that occupy
