Taken from (G. Houben, 1999), they say a business before it starts with strategic management planning it needs to asses internal and external factors that affect the business in small ways or big. They need to see what they can utilise to make the factors good for the business and eliminate the bad factors for the business. A good performance from the business is one where they have interacted and overcome internal and external factors that affect the business somehow.
According to, (Rowe & Britz, 2009), A SWOT analyses can be defined as an assessment of a business’s Strengths and weaknesses of a business, as well as the external opportunities presented, and threats. (Rowe & Britz, 2009) Stated that a SWOT analyses will help a business identify these and will show were the business can grow and become competitive in their business market place.
