Business entrepreneurship is the career that I am researching about. Entrepreneurs are business owners or mangers of a corporation, enterprise or small companies. Studies show that the industry usually grows about two percent to three percent a year while the average length in business is only twelve years (5). However, I feel like the pay outweighs the negative. Standard pay for a starting businessman is $75,030 and it can reach as high as $171, 610 or more for experienced entrepreneurs (4). I chose this topic not only because of the wage, but also the reward of autonomy makes this career fascinating. To begin, many traits of this field resonate with my personality. People in this career often have leadership traits, a high level of motivation, a willingness to learn from and make mistakes and a competitive spirit (6). Creativity is another essential trait that allows businesses to transition smoothly from one era to the next. I will have to create my company in stages. The very first thing will be to make a personal assessment. What are my real motivations? What are my strengths and weakness? Do I have the necessary diplomas? Am I good salesman? Will I know how to convince? Am I a good manager? I will plan my activities with a motivated mind. I know that it is a lot of work, but the benefits to be an entrepreneur are so many.
