Buckeye Career Center currently has no policy designed to protect time and schedules and to maximize teacher instruction other than descriptions of work times in the board contract. After providing an overview of the current schedule, this paper will document such a policy. At BCC, the teacher’s work day is from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm with the exception of Friday when teachers are dismissed at 2:40 pm. The schedule is divided into a 10 period day with each period last 42 minutes (except the tenth period which lasts 36 minutes) with three minute breaks in between classes. The students are present for 9 periods and are dismissed at 2:24. CTE lab teachers have a junior class the first four periods of the day, then lunch, then a senior class
The Buckeye State Building and Loan Company was built in 1895, in the height of the building frenzy. It specialized in real estate mortgage loans for town and farm properties. Its prior locations included 101 N. High Street (1895) and 22 W. Gay Street (1899). But, it ultimately selected a new location to build in 1926, the site at 36 E. Gay Street. The contractor Robert Evans and the architecture firm Hopkins and Dentz of New York City designed Buckeye State Building and Loan Company in the classical revival style.
In 1937, Meridian Community College (MCC) was founded as a part of Meridian High School in the local school system. Understanding college policies and procedures is critical for success at Delaware Technical Community College. The reason it is so critical is because every college has its own policies, and without knowing those policies it is impossible to follow them. One policy for example that would be critical to success is understanding the grading policy. Delaware Technical Community College does not have D on the grading scale, if someone didn't look further into that policy they may not know that they are actually in bad academic standing and are failing a class. Another important procedure that is critical to success is understanding the appeals process. While academic appeals are often not a good thing, it is important to know about in case

At the onset of my principal practicum at Endeavor Elementary School, the first meeting that I attended was a discussion regarding the daily and weekly schedule. Particular concern was given to the number of minutes that need to allocated for Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) as well as the addition of a new science textbook and curriculum in the coming fall. Additionally, the use of combination classes is a historical characteristic of the school structure and is a necessity financially to maintain the operation of the small rural elementary school. Hence, grades are divided for core instruction such as English, science, and social studies; while CMP math brings the grade levels back together. For example, in one class a teacher will have a combination of 3rd and 4th graders and another class will have 4th and 5th graders combined. Consequently, when CMP math is taught one the students travel to on teacher who teaches their grade level math. Furthermore, CMP requires a minimum of sixty minutes to complete each lesson.
