My career cluster is Eligibility Interviewers and Government. What they all have in common is about law, math, and science. They deal with customer service, administrative service, algebra, and law and government. They have to communicate by speaking. They also have to listen to people’s problems and try to solve them.

My media career was born of a desire to serve the public with accurate and thorough information. I currently edit intranet pages to help hundreds of Royal Caribbean agents serve customers in that manner, and I served thousands of readers more directly in earlier work with niche publications and community newspapers.
Postpartum depression (PPD) is a major event occurring in eight to fifteen percent of the woman population after delivering their child (Glavin, Smith, Sørum & Ellefsen, 2010). The symptoms and causes of PPD are similar to depression symptoms in other periods of life (Glavin et al., 2010). These symptoms may include feelings of helplessness and hopelessness, loss of interest in daily activities, sleep changes, anger or irritability, loss of energy, self-loathing, reckless behavior and concentration problems. These symptoms may lead to other factors that are detrimental to the child bearing and rearing family.

I have taken and loved a variety of my media classes here at Ball State University. I have taken courses in video production, audio production, news production, copywriting, scriptwriting, newswriting, interviewing, reporting, photography, graphic design, media analysis, and media law. I have really enjoyed getting familiar with all of the different journalism, telecommunications, and news departments at Ball State University, and have aspects of each program that I enjoy. Although many of my classes have been very challenging and time-consuming, I am not discouraged. Instead, I feel as though I am more excited graduate, get my degree in Telecommunications with a Concentration in News Production, and start a career in the industry. Even though some of my required courses have been for print media, I have enjoyed my courses for broadcast media more. I feel like there are aspects of video and audio media that can’t be told in writing, and that is why I am working to get into
Depending on the profession that someone is seeking, the educational requirements can differ significantly. The professions on the lower end of the pay scale require a high school diploma or equivalent to a postsecondary non-degree award. Professions on the medium range of the pay scale require an Associate to Bachelor’s degree. The higher paying professions require a Doctoral or Professional degree to a Master’s degree. The more time that someone dedicates to their education, will move them higher on the pay scale.
As a freshman in high school I woke up every morning before all of my fellow classmates and came to school an hour early. But I didn’t mind, because now I was apart of the Broadcasting Team. I didn’t mind waking up earlier because being there made me feel more awake than ever before. My early morning dedication persisted, all four years of high school. The rush of adrenaline after running my first broadcast has continued to drive my desire to learn all aspects of broadcasting. I can’t imagine doing anything else. I will graduate college and then work toward “running the board” for a major news
I've had a passion for music ever since I could remember. My dad driving me to Elementary school while blasting the nineties rap from (2pac, N.W.A, The Notorious B.I.G, Dr. Dre and etc.) Along the way I transitioned into different genres from Hard Rock to Techno and now forms of electronic dance music. When I put on my headphones, I don’t just listen to the music, I hear it. Hearing the various sounds through the songs. Hi hats, bass drums, snare drums, plus the different instruments. With electronic music I love hearing the different waves (sawtooth, sine, square, triangle) and how each one creates a unique design in the song.

The world of the electronic technician is dramatically changing; a decade ago these technicians would be required to repair their equipment through the actual repair of each individual component. Now the average electronic technician identifies the faulty component and simply replaces it. With the rapid trend of 3-D printing the job of an electronic technician will change even more. This change, like many other emerging trends will affect our nation’s economic, political, and climatological environment. Unlike what optimists think, it will not solve such things such as eliminating poverty or provide cheap energy. Nor will the pessimists get to say “I told you so” as we enter into atomic war or human extinction. Both of these views are extreme conjecture of what will happen. Although 3-D
