With that being said, Mike’s motivation to success is to make his grandmother proud and to fulfil his lifelong dream of being a lawyer. Unfortunately for Mike he made the mistake of becoming successful the unethical way and lied about graduating from Harvard Law school and didn’t. Due to this we see that Mike is a man that acts on emotion and also he is a man that does whatever he can to make those people happy.
