Why does a 14 year old African American boy have to be brutally murdered for the Civil Rights Movement to be mobilized? Like most Americans in the Southern parts of the United States, they despised African Americans. Many don’t know why they do they just know they’re supposed to.

The Murder of Emmett Till is an incredible documentary about the harsh reality of life for African Americans in the U.S. in the 1950’s. The documentary does an amazing job of shedding light onto this terrible period of American history by showing it’s audience a very graphic example of this time period’s prejudice against African-America. I personally believe that OJ Simpson killed Nicole and Goldman because there are enough evidences to point out that OJ Simpson did the crime. First of all, Simpson flee from the police and only guilty people would do that because if you know that you did not do anything illegal you’re going to be confident to face the police but Simpson did the opposite therefore that gave me a strong impression that he is guilty for doing the crime. He ran away to Ford Bronco and saying that he is going to commit suicide. Why would anyone try to commit suicide if they said they were innocent that they didn’t do the crime? Simpson tried committing suicide because he knows that he is not innocent and can’t bear the consequences of what he did wrong. They were
It was 11:19 am when the first set of gunshots pierced through the walls of Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. In 49 short minutes, two high school seniors, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold murdered 12 students and 1 teacher, and then killed themselves. Months prior, the pair planned out the attacks in a series of journal entries and video diaries. The attack at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999 raised many questions; the biggest one being, why did they do it? While the common media misconception is that the Columbine shooting was a war against jocks and outcasts, the shooting was actually perpetuated by psychopathy and depression in the shooters.

“Harding’s death was extremely violent. He was in great pain. I heard him gasp and moan. I saw his body turn from red to purple.” Carla McClain, a newspaper reporter, witnessed the execution of Donald Eugene Harding on April 6, 1992 by asphyxiation. Of the same execution television journalist, Cameron Harper, said, “Harding’s spasms and jerks lasted 6 minutes and 37 seconds. Obviously, this man was suffering. This was a violent death….an ugly event. We put animals to death more humanely.”
When you see the shows such as Homicide Hunter or Killer Instincts many times my mom and I try to figure out who is the murder. Most of the time my prediction is right because of the details my mom misses, and putting together all the clues. From then on I realised I had a gift, even if it was I was just watching television show. That is what sparked my interest the criminal justice area. I have contemplated the career choices that would best fit my interest leaving me with Homicide Detective and Criminologist. While both careers deal with criminal justice they differ greatly in the type of work environment, pay, skills/education.
Over the last 30 years, murders have decreased, but in the 1800’s there was a spike in murders that went unsolved. Most have been solved except for a peculiar one. That peculiar case is the Lizzie Borden case.
