Question 1: Biopsychosocial Analysis of Regina
Biological Factors
Fetal Development
It can be presumed, due to their middle class status, that Regina’s mother was receiving proper pre natal care and had access to the proper nutrition for healthy development of the child. Regina was receiving proper nutrition as long as her mother was eating well although, if she was not eating well before her pregnancy that would lead to her having to change her eating habits to accommodate the baby. If Regina’s mother did not change the way she was eating for her baby to receive the proper nutrients, then this could have caused Regina’s “physical, socioemotional, and intellectual development to be compromised” (Broderick & Blewitt, p55). There is a possibility that Regina’s mother was drinking during her pregnancy as a way to cope with her husband’s emotional and/or physical abuse. Two effects alcohol has on the fetus are metacognitive and language deficits which could explain Regina’s lisp and lack of understanding in regard to her moral actions (Broderick & Blewitt, 2015). Thus, it is more likely that Regina

There is inconsistent discipline occurring between the mother and Regina; although there seems to be no involvement from the father. Regina’s father does not seem to want to interact with the mother often and he refers to Regina as the mother’s mini me. During the session with Regina’s therapist it seemed as if her father was not attentive in any respect. It can be presumed that he does not want to have to take care of her or have a relationship with her; he could have a larger focus on his four-month-old son. “The attachment relationship can be vulnerable to events that may distract, depress, or preoccupy the mother or otherwise upset family life” (Broderick & Blewitt,
Over the weekend I was working in Evolv on a client Biopsychosocial Assessment , and I accidentally used Biopsychosocial Assessment RTF. After realizing my error I corrected it and used the Biopsychosocial Assessment RTF V.2, however there are now two assessments in Evolv for the same client. Can you please assist me with deleting the incorrect assessment.
Regina started to spent less time at home and more time reading in the woods. They move again to Rocky Point during the winter, once they get there Cookie leaves to be with new boyfriend Red Devil, leaving them alone, not registered for school, without food and without heat. Regina’s older sister Cherie get’s sick of pneumonia and social services took them away once again. After Cherie recovers Cookie regains custody and Karl has agreed to return if Cookie stops drinking, the day Cookie came home smelling like alcohol Karl left. That year they go visit their grandparents are rejected and for the next two months they are living in their mother’s car. They are left alone in the car at night when she goes with someone to spend the night. When they do find someplace to live they have to leave due to the neighbors noticing the children are not going to school, are again living in the car. A few months later both Cherie and Camille moveout. When their mom gets a job at a Deli live in a room upstairs from it. Cookie gets upset when Regina comes home late resulting with her mother throwing a pan when Camille intervene her mother pushes her down the stairs. She was taken to the hospital. The hospital staff did not ask about their mother or went deeper into the story they told. Regina knew her sisters were not going to stay she decided to get a job at age 11 at the same place her mother works in. Her mother would
Never in my life have I ever seen a mom so nonchalant. She does not care about anything her daughter does and is just as fake as Regina (except she also has a horrible boob job). Her ultimate goal is to keep Regina happy and make sure that she is having fun. Grades mean nothing to her because she is all about being rich and maintaining a high status material wise. When seeing this movie, you will wish that you had her mom. If you want to drink, that’s fine with her. If you want to have sex, go ahead. She’ll offer you a condom and love that you’re happy. Despite how ridiculous this character appears to be, the actress, Amy Poehler, does a fantastic job at helping fulfill the purpose of showing stereotypes in the
Regina phones Cady to ask a series of questions, and even to give her guidance to talk to Aaron. Cady believes Regina is helping her with her confidence to communicate to Aaron, however Regina is sabotaging her relationship with Aaron. That is one message received wrong by Cady, an additional one is how Regina is fooling Cady into saying something she doesn’t mean to say about Gretchen. Regina is known for being a bully and has a negative influence on her group, Regina quickly becomes jealous of how the other girls like the “new girl” she wants Cady to cause conflict with the other girls for Regina to maintain her authority, and for Gretchen and Karen to dislike
The way Regina’s mom runs the George household falls under a very specific type of parenting style called Permissive-Indulgent. This parenting style is described as parents setting very few limits and being very emotionally involved. This description fits Regina's mom perfectly, she flat out says “there

The Biopsychosocial model (BPS) was established in the early 1970s as a replacement for the biomedical approach created by George Engel (1977). He had argued against the reductionist biomedical model of disease for not considering the behavioural, psychological and social dimensions in the model (Jull, 2017). Wade and Halligan, (2016) had established that biomedical remains as the dominant healthcare approach. The aim of BPS is to integrate the biological factors with psychological and environmental factors, Engel (1977) suggested that the biopsychosocial model of illness has a significant role in the functioning of humans in terms of disease or illness and can make medicine more scientific and should be adopted into psychiatry research (Adler, 2009). Davies and Roache, (2017) established that the model was exceedingly determined, recommending new details for practices as well as a non-reductive advocate for mental illness.
Case studies are an important part of clinical psychology. One can learn about the biological, psychological, and social factors involved by studying patients with certain disorders or illnesses. The case study of Christina Ricci and Karen Carpenter are extraordinary and this analysis will give a brief overview of their case as well as discuss the biological, psychological, and social factors involved. This analysis will also explain the need for adaptation in the field of clinical psychology.
Norbury asks the entire senior class to raise their hand if they have ever been victimized by Regina George and nearly every single hand was raised. She does whatever she wants and thinks that everyone admires her. This is mostly because of the way her mom acts towards her and her friends. Regina's mom tries to be one of the teenage girls and gossip along with the "plastics." She even allows her daughter to drink underage. Regina's mom also allows the younger daughter to watch nudity on the television. Her care free, laid back parenting style plays a huge roll on how Regina acts towards her peers. In addition, Cady's parents are very strict. The first sign of this is in the beginning when they are very concerned with sending her to a public high school. After being exposed to the "plastics" and how they act, Cady begins to drink and participate in illegal activity nearly every weekend. Cady finds her wrong doings as an escape from her parents. This is because her parents are too strict and are constantly nagging her. Their uptight, strict parenting style is what leads to Cady doing unacceptable activities.
Regina is the definition of a drama queen. She does not have much of a relationship with her younger sister or either of her parents; however, they give her everything her heart desires. Her mother tries to be
In Psychology 101, you learn about a personal fable; something that I have not lost. I have always wanted to change the world that I was destined for greatness and teaching elementary school students gives me that power. In the words of Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
The Evil Queen (Regina) is a very stuck up person in Once Upon A Time. She adopted Henry when he was little but Henry hates her. She says that she loves Henry as her son but no one believes her. When Henry’s birth mother comes into the enchanted forest the Evil Queen gets very protective. She threatens his mother and tells her to leave and never come back.
I then addressed the violence in the schools, Regina admitted she does not feel safe at all and that she has seen violence on a regular basis. She has also has been a victim of it. She states and maintains that television is to blame. She feels children watch and bring it to school, especially the wrestling moves, and violent behavior.
“Don’t treat the disease, treat the patient” [9]. The concept of health has seemed to become complex in definition over the centuries as science improves. “Health is a complete state of physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity.”-World Health Definition of Health (1948) [9]
Just as all psychological tests are categorized, not all tests are applied for the same use and the same users. Each test is done by a trained or professional to determine what is the situation based on the results and to see what treatment is best for the individual. There are four major psychological tests users are clinical, educational,
