At this time Paris was fun and careless before the French Revolution of 1789 released its horrors on it. But the outbreak of the revolution changed everything, and with all of the violence around, she fled France with her daughter to find safety in Italy (Moffat and Mossman). When she returned, Paris was a completely different place. However, the demand for her art had not changed. Vigee Le Brun is considered a painter of the rococo period. Rococo is best described as an eighteenth century art style that places importance on the carefree life rather than grand heroes. Originally the rococo fashion started in Paris, where Vigee Le Brun was born. It changed the way people looked at art and the world in general (Bleiberg). Vigee Le Brun not only used the rococo style in her art, but also to influence fashion, persuading women to wear simple, high waist shifts, which would be an important stepping stone in changing fashion forever. By refusing to put powder in her hair, she made being natural beautiful. If it weren’t for her innovations we might still be wearing Victorian gowns and wigs. She made fashion and styles for young women, such as herself, more daring and interesting (Steadman).

Background - Country Girl Jewelry has expanded rapidly to the point at which they now have two offices and over 70 employees. There are now larger issues requiring the Security Department to be responsible for secure transactions for online clients, the personal financial data of all concerned, and a safe and secure network situation). Our first step in this process is to look at the situation carefully and, especially in the era of globalization, manage our security risk level by first considering our risk level. Basic risk management for any organization encompasses six general parameters" 1) The identification of a risk within the context of the organization or area; 2) Planning some sort of a process to mitigate the situation(s); 3) Mapping, either formally or informally, the scope, objectives, stakeholders, and constraints; 4) Defining a framework for managing the risk(s); 5) Developing a sound analysis of the risks using as many tools as possible; 6) Finding mitigating solutions using all available tools (Wan, 2009; Frenkel, Hommel, & Rudolf, 2005). Most experts, in fact, suggest that one look at risk as a simple formula: Risk Index = Impact of Risk Event(s) X Probability of Occurance.

What would you do if your significant other passed on and left you with over 12 million dollars? That's exactly what Guy De Maupassant tries to answer in the short story, “The Jewelry”. The author answers this question by expressing it through the five main parts of a complete story the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and conclusion. Not having a plot in the story it would be the equivalent of reading someones everyday journal. There are many events that happen but they are in a random, that may not make sense. The three of the most important elements of this story are the rising action, climax, and conclusion. This short story allows each of the elements to build on each other creating a greater outcome for the following

The “Necklace” is a unique story, which serves as a lesson for all to learn; since life is unpredictable, we ought to be content with what we have and who we are, no matter the circumstances. The story which talks about Madame Loisel the wife of a clerk, and how her desire and greed to be like the upper class, led her and her husband to ten years of rigid labor in order to replace the missing necklace she borrowed from a friend to attend an extravagant party.
