Benjamin Krull Biography

In following essay I will be talking about the two words I thought described Benjamin Franklin. The words I picked were respect and initiative. We had to do this essay, if we talk we again we are getting another paragraph.

Benjamin Franklin is known as a political figure and scientist/inventor. Learning the importance of debate at such a young age clearly served him in great and many ways.

There are many role models in the world deemed smart, wise, and even revolutionary. Although only a few people have the honorary award “role model”, there is however one person who stands out and is is not just a role model, but an inspiration, which is none other than Benjamin Franklin. One of Franklin’s jobs included being a scientist where he conducted many life changing experiments which changed how society thought of science. Science experiments are not simply just for research and tests, but also for inventions, which leads to explain about Franklin’s revolutionary job as an inventor, which lead him to invent a plethora of inventions that is still used today that changed the world. Finally, along with a scientist and an inventor, he was also a prestigious politician and statesman who was mainly responsible for being a delegate who helped sign the Paris Treaty and end the Revolutionary war, which joined the United States their freedom. In conclusion Benjamin Franklin was a life changing scientist, inventor, and politician who changed this world for the better.

It can be said that all great men have a good work, something that carries their name far past the memory of their time. These such works are written down in the papers of history in a way that no fire could burn and no water can damage. Benjamin Franklin, one of our founding fathers, wrote, “If you would not be forgotten, as soon as your dead and rotten, either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing” (Franklin). Franklin was not only a founding father, he was a well-known scientist during the American Enlightenment, experimenting with electricity as well as physics. Franklin was also an inventor, inventing the lightning rod and the bifocals.

Franklin, himself climbed the ranks society “having emerged from the poverty and obscurity in which [he] was born and bred to a state of affluence and some degree of reputation in the world” (Franklin 27).
