World travel is always a great experience for everybody! Traveling fills ones life with a variety of amazing experiences and events. This includes traveling out of state or even out of the country! As a young individual I myself love to travel and experience new things. Traveling can always open new doors and incredible opportunities such as trying new foods, meeting new people, and even give you a sense of accomplishment! These are just a few great benefits of being a world traveler. Traveling is the most exciting, sensational and mind blowing thing anyone can experience.
Furthermore, a prime reason I enjoy to travel is to try new food! Food is a very important aspect in life. We as humans have to eat in order to survive. So what better way to have a taste of the variety of food from around the world? I recall traveling with my mom and extended family on a trip to California where they are known for their delicious food! Hungry after traveling a near six hours, we decided to purchase some food from a famous restaurant named “In And Out”. I got a burger with a side of fries. The burger contained meat, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, and many more delicious ingredients. Eating a burger never tasted

Traveling offers endless opportunities to consistently learn, and achieve new objectives. This includes but is not limited to, trying varieties of dishes, encountering new individuals, and gaining a sense of accomplishment, and victory. The amount of opportunities to learn, teach and share characteristics such as these are endless, and experiences like these are priceless. Being a world traveler has impacted me deep and permanently and has changed my ideas on life for the better. There is no greater feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction as there is when you are a world traveler. The earth is more beautiful than man can perceive. Life is an adventure. The world is your
For some people, their idea of traveling is to get on the road to Dubuque. But for Cole Wickham, an active 10th grader at Anamosa High School, traveling includes seeing half of the United States, as well as Canada and Jamaica. Cole says he likes traveling because he gets to experience new things.
I am drawn to the thought that vacationing is a way of making everlasting memories, in addition to encountering many diverse cultures around the world.
From my travels, I also learned that there can be more than one solution to a problem. Indeed, having a variety of perspectives makes it easier to come up with approaches to different problems. My travel experience has strengthened my interpersonal skills, as well as my integrity and determination.
Throughout history, the progressions of mankind has given way to a perpetually globalizing world. Globalization, the “process of interaction and integration among peoples of different nations, has strengthened human ties while our race has formed societies in every corner of the globe. As our world becomes more interconnected, the resulting blend of cultures has led numerous societal features to be shared between peoples, blurring cultural division lines. Globalization’s tying binds may frustrate many modern travelers seeking unique and special travel experiences due to the standardization of destinations resulting from increasingly cozy international social relations, but continued and extensive human travel has demonstrated that the essential human urge to move is a product of our search for fulfillment in what is unfamiliar and will not be suppressed by global interconnection.
“Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves.” Henry David Thoreau stood behind the fact that all change is a miracle that happens in every instant. World travel has the potential to introduce an individual to the various miracles that life has to offer through aspects like culture, scenery, and language. In fact, there is a psychological concept that goes by the name of the “Big Five.” The number five refers to the five most dominant characteristics of personality: openness, extraversion, neuroticism, conscientiousness and agreeableness. Meeting new people and exposing oneself with new culture is one of is an activity that is one of the main contributors to the openness factor of personality which in turn has a domino effect on the remaining four characteristics (“5 Ways…”). That being said, by travelling the world an individual is able to become more adventurous and well rounded.
Ever since I was a couple months old I have been travelling. Flying from coast to coast and country to country. I have flown on nearly three hundred flights domestically and some internationally. Internationally I have been to Paris, Toronto, Jamaica, and Cancun. I have been to Cancun twice as I vacationed there for my final spring break before high school graduation. Domestically, the most notable place I have flown to constantly is Buffalo, New York where my father’s family is from. Traveling has allowed me to experience new places, foods, and culture.
I love traveling, and not just because it’s fun, but because it exposes you to another lifestyle outside of the norm. According to nbc news, “ Traveling is very good for your health”. Communication skill would improve while traveling because you are less on your phone so you are more social towards others. Traveling can also inspire different ideas based on what was seen. Traveling can also help you get to know yourself because you are away from the hassle of everyday tasks, and you get to learn new things. Traveling on this trip will give me more knowledge as well.
be an integral part of my life. What I experience will shape how I think
Based on Tata Group’s experience, we can see the advantages and drawbacks of going international as follows:
Travelling is important as it can remove the unintended prejudice that individuals carry out rashly. Sometimes, people unconsciously treat others differently solely based on their own beliefs. Since their judgement is based only on opinion, therefore it may be inaccurate to use when addressing the persons around them. However, exploring the world may lessen your tendency to be prejudice as you will gain detailed insights to the way others think, the way others see, and the way others live. Thus, this will allow you to not make foolhardy assumptions when being in contact with a society or community as you will be more knowledgeable to understand why they are the way they are. Removing prejudice from our lifestyle is very important to us as open-thinkers as we often make many mistakes in the treatment of other human beings. Prejudice is an undesirable trait to possess because
Traveling internationally tends to reignite my awareness of how fortunate we, as Americans, are. The main reason is that Americans have the opportunity for more freedoms. These freedoms can be individual, political, religious, etc. with the list becoming almost endless. Freedom is a significant characteristic of the United States and the reason many people make sacrifices to live in the land of the free. However, freedom is not just achieved once. Freedoms can easily be taken away and we must continue to fight for our freedoms.
Travelling provides a way for creating relationships and experiencing new cultures, while escaping the hardships of daily life.
Traveling, in general, makes people healthier. Occasional travelers report lower stress levels and lower risks of heart attacks. These benefits even stay awhile after the trip has ended. According to Larry Alton, “traveling has been scientifically proven to lower stress levels.” (NBC News) This is because traveling is like taking a break from one’s hectic life. One gets to think about themselves and relax. People feel less anxious and tend to forget about problems that usually bother them. In a way, they disconnect from their busy lives.
I have been fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to travel a handful of times now and having just got back from a three week trip to Iraq -I can assure you the experiences that traveling unfolds are life changing!
While vacation may seem like a week away from home, traveling has so many positive aspects. Whether one travels for a few days, or for a year, it can open the eyes of many people and change their views. While on the road, people often discover who they really are and create relationships with people they will never forget. During this adventure, people learn new languages, and connect with the world in a new way. Traveling is beneficial to both a persons mental and physical health; it makes the mind more creative, and it's a great way to exercise .
