3.1. By saying training is just the “latest trend” the CEO means it’s something everyone in the corporate world is doing which is popular and after something else new comes in it will die and everyone will follow it. The CEO sees e-training as a waste of money because it is something that is going to die soon and it does not make sense to him to spend a lot of money on training if it won’t bring in positive results to the organisation.
