Everything begins and ends with the will of God. God is the creator of the heavens and the earth. He created the universe, and created man in his image. He is architect of all that is known and unknown. There is only one God, but this one God is divided into three sections. This is known as the Trinity. The Trinity is broken down into the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. All three are completely spate, but they are all the same. Although it may seem that there are three different beings, they are all the same God. This is a vital belief of the Christian …show more content…
As like anything else there are always strengths and weaknesses to something. The Christian faith has many strengths. One of these strengths is the ability to bring together a people for a greater good. It provides people with a set of guidelines in which to live a purposeful life. The Christian faith allows people to grow from their teachings and pass it on to others. One weakness that can be attributed with the Christian faith is the temptation of doubt. There are some areas that are difficult to explain, such as the concept of the trinity. This can discourage people from fully immersing themselves into the faith, and allows them to wander. Overall, the Christian faith can have a large influence over people’s thinking and behavior. It gives them the morals on which to act on. It provides the thought process into what is good and bad. Reflection The Christian worldview is very important. It gives the foundation that allows for the love of God. To be able to work on oneself and unselfishly giving to others. To know that God created man in his likeness is an amazing concept. Not only did he make man in his likeness he also gave man his son. Jesus came to fortify the word of God. Not only did he give man the gift of the word, he gave up his life. He gave his life to free man from sin. It is a worldview that makes sense and give purpose to the way life is lived. This will guide people into the gates of heaven,

As individuals on this earth, it is common to seek answers to questions which pertain to the origin of life. While some believe in a major scientific occurrence or some spiritual influence brought forth this world. Some may have no care in the matter, yet a large part of the world’s population has a belief based off the teachings and principles of Christianity. The purpose of this paper is to further explain the Christian worldview and many of its key factors such as God, Jesus Christ and the influence they have in the life of humanity.
There are a variety of differing worldviews in practice today. Every person has a worldview that is shaped by their experiences, pasts, families, traditions, values, and beliefs that form the core of who they are. The Christian worldview is no exception. This worldview is formed by the beliefs and teachings of the Bible. The worldview is shaped and centered around the view of who God is, the purpose of humanity, the true identity of Jesus, the restoration of humans to God, acknowledging the strengths and weakness of the worldview, and the practicality of living out the worldview.
God can be a very controversial subject depending on who you are talking to in this day and time; some people believe, some believe in other Gods and then there are other groups who do not believe in anything beyond this life. God has always had to deal with those who do not believe. God has been persecuted since the beginning of time and has proven over and over that is very much who he says he is. This paper will give you a better understanding of who God is, how humanity is affected by their beliefs, who Jesus is and how he is the way to the heavenly father and creator as well as how restoration will impact our lives as well as the beliefs I hold in God and how everything he created relies on the next in some way to survive.
“In the God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1) God existed before all of His creation, therefore He is the sovereign creator. He created all to be good in His perfect wisdom. Though God is invisible, He has several distinct characteristics; compassionate, faithful, infinite, just, wise and all-powerful.
God. The Christian worldview has God at the forefront of all creation. God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1), he created all that walks, all that talks, and all the beasts on Earth. In
The Word, Christ himself was in the beginning the Word; He was with God and was God (John1:1-2). The Word is the Revelation of Eternity, Creation, and Redemption. It is the Gospel written that we believe in His Name; that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and in believing we may have life in His Name (John 20:30-31). The Word takes us from eternity to eternity and links the whole of mankind together as one body no matter race or color to the resurrection of the incarnate, crucified Logos. He is our Gospel Support System!
An ungodly, hateful, ruthless place to live for many people. Wars, famine, disease, greed, murder, rape, drug trafficking, child molestation, and more have led to the continual downfall of society. The most prevalent of all is greed. The love of money is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10 NIV). A Christian Worldview could help tremendously with all of these problems. If humankind were to keep God in the center of their lives and follow His teachings every day, the world would be such a better place. Following Christ’s Word helps humanity to care for one another. It instills the importance to be humble, to serve, to love and take care of one another (Hiles & Smith, 2015). The image of God can be seen in those who follow Him. Christians get their strength from God. He gives peace to those who seek Him, and they are
A worldview is made from a set of assumptions created by an individual or a group of people forming a belief system that guides them in how they perceive reality to be in this world. Belief systems are often created by those before us which; are then instilled into future generations. In today’s world there are many different types of belief systems being taught, however; “there are three basic worldviews that most belief systems fall into which are; Atheism, Pantheism and Theism.” (GCU Lecture 1, 2015) Christianity holds a Theism worldview and is the “largest religion in America with; eighty-three percent of Americans claiming to be Christians”. (Analysis & Langer, 2016 ) A Christian worldview revolves around the teachings from the Old and New Testament in the Bible which; are referred to as Gospels known as the word of God since; “all scripture is God breathed”. (2 Timothy 3:16) The essentials of the Gospel are made up of God, humanity, Jesus and restoration and in analyzing Christianity, then reflecting on my own worldview I will conclude with my final thoughts on the Gospel essentials.
The Christian worldview, also categorized under theism, is highly recognized and held by many. This is the belief that there is a single, personal, and relational God who is the creator of all things, this includes a belief in morality and the afterlife. This paper will discuss important aspects and key characters in the Christian worldview, including God and His plan for His children, humanity and the Fall, and Jesus’ role in restoration.
Christian Worldview is defined as the framework of ideas and beliefs through which a Christian individual, group or culture interprets the world and interacts with it. Different denominations of Christianity have varying worldviews. There are varieties of particulars within the Christian worldview, and disputes of the meaning of concepts in a Christian worldview, but certain thematic elements are common in the Christian worldview (Ennis, Patricia A., et al). The world-view is by no means all the views and notions of the surrounding
A worldview is one’s views and beliefs about the world and reality that impact how we think, live our lives, and perceive the world. “People have their own private worldviews with values and beliefs that have been shaped by culture, education, experiences, and relationships” (“Lecture 1,” 2015). There are many worldviews and outlooks in the world, but we are mainly focusing on the Christian worldview. In this paper, I will summarize and analyze the Christian worldview and describe their beliefs with regard to God, Humanity, Jesus, and the Restoration while reflecting on my own beliefs.
In this assignment you will summarize and analyze the essential elements of the Christian worldview and reflect on implications for your own worldview.
Our worldview allows us to see into the world at such an angle that it coincides with our beliefs, therefore affecting how we think and live. Whether one falls under an atheistic, pantheistic, or theistic worldview, they are guided in their life choices depending on the beliefs of their worldview. Throughout this paper, I will summarize the elements of a Christian Worldview such as God, Humanity, Jesus, and Restoration; I will then analyze questions one might have about the Christian Worldview, and finally I will reflect on my worldview.
A worldview is the way a person views and interprets the world around them. Life experiences and spiritual influences play a part in forming one’s worldview. A person’s worldview helps them to determine beliefs on creation, humanity, morals and what happens after death. According to Waddell, (2014) “Worldviews are also like lenses found in eyeglasses that serve as the means through which a person sees the world.” (para. 43) In this paper, the main components of the Christian worldview will be discussed, to include God, humanity, Jesus, restoration and analysis of Christian Faith as well as a reflection of my own beliefs.
