Samantha Cortez Garcia (born April 20, 2000), Sam, is a Mexican- American sophomore student currently attending Mckay High School. She first began her career as a student at the age of five attending Washington Elementary as a kindergarten student.

Tashanna N Garcia is currently enrolled in the Masters of Criminal Justice, with a concentration in Forensic Science, program at Saint Leo University. Tashanna comes from a military background where she served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Her military training was essential to her transition into law enforcement, where she spent the last ten years working for two police departments as a patrol officer and then for the Alabama Department of Public Safety as a Traffic Homicide Investigator for the State Troopers. William Faulkner has written some of the most unique novels and short stories of any author, and, to this day, his stories continue to be enjoyed by many. Both “Barn Burning” and “A Rose for Emily” tell about the life of southern people and their struggles with society, but Faulkner used the dramatic settings of these two stories to create a mood unlike any other and make the audience feel like they too were a part of these southern towns. These two stories have many similarities in there setting, but they also have many differences to that make them unique and interesting.

Earlier this month, we were very excited to have the opportunity to meet with Sonia Galaviz when she visited our main office. As a 5th grade teacher at Garfield Elementary School here in Boise, Idaho, she’s been steadily making a name for herself in the education world. In 2009, she was named Idaho Woman of the Year by the Idaho Business Review, and in 2011 she was one of five educators nationally chosen to receive Teaching Tolerance’s award of Excellence in Culturally Responsive Pedagogy, and this year, Galaviz’s devotion to her students has once again been recognized.

Her difficulty interacting and relating to her old family members before she immigrated to America reflects the emotional hardship of immigration.

One has a certain control over shaping their morality until their ambition and desires take over their mind, leading them to perform inhumane deeds. Macbeth first comes upon the witches, who prophesied that he would be crowned Thane of Cawdor and “king hereafter.” At first, Macbeth is unconvinced, but soon, Duncan’s servants arrive and crown Macbeth Thane of Cawdor, the first part of the prophecy.

Melanie Martinez is a popular singer, a song writer, music video director and photographer. Melanie is a 22 year old, she was born on April 28, 1995 in Astronia, New York City, New York, United States. She is a mix of Dominican and Puerto Rican parents but she doesn’t speak spanish. She learned to play the Ukulele when she was 14 years old but as her parents couldn’t afford the lessons she had to teach herself.

The essentials of a vampire story are an older man representing corrupt values and a young innocent female that get destructed in order to continue the life force of the male. This can be applied to the Twilight series, as Edward uses Bella. Edward and Bella fall in love; stripping away her innocence, and is brought into the lifestyle of vampires. In the course of the movie Bella gets hunted and runs away; using all of her energy. She runs away from home, stripping her from her youth. Within the next few movies, Bella gets pregnant, destructing her body, and gives birth to Edwards baby in order to continue the life force of the male.

Bella was fighting for better treatment in her career. Then a fight happened. Yetta, being Bella’s friend, tried to help her, but failed. The author writes “Tell him that Yetta was really trying to help me, she didn’t do anything wrong, she shouldn’t be in that police wagon-”(Haddix 100). This quote from Uprising, shows how Bella took this situation.

Schizophrenia, defined by the National Institute of Mental Health is “…a chronic and severe mental disorder that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves...” Sufferers of this mental illness have many symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, difficulty finding happiness, reduced speaking, trouble focusing, and many other symptoms which greatly impact their quality of life. Around two million Americans are diagnosed with this illness, although not much is known about it. Scientists have still not been able to pin point what causes schizophrenia. Due to this there is no cure, only treatments to try and dull the symptoms. Eventually, Bella and Edward had fallen in love with each other. Edward told her that he is a vampire. At this part of the movie the viewer already know he is and Bella has an idea that he is as well. But, it is an important part to the movie because it shows the viewer how Edward tells her how he really does not want to hurt her but it is hard for him because he can 't read her thoughts, Bella is not scared at all. But when the viewer watches the film they want to see Bella’s reaction and how Edward responds to it. This is a very meaningful part of the movie and was a great way to show how Bella wasn’t frightened that Edward was a vampire and how she trusted him greatly. Bella also knew that Edward would not harm her in any way. Even though Edward was not sure of himself that he had what it takes to be strong and not change Bella’s life forever, by turning her into his kind, a vampire.
