Hitler was the Fuhrer of Germany. So what was his life before he was Fuehrer? Hitler started out as a regular everyday person, although later he was not. So what was his childhood like? Why was his military background before he was Fuehrer? And finally, Why did he loathe and despise Jewish people?
At the start, Adolf Hitler had a very bad, and influential childhood. Hitler was born in Braunau, Austria-Hungary in 1889. His father was a low-level customs official, and wanted his son, Hitler, to join him as a customs official, but Hitler instead, wished to be in Fine Arts, of which his father very much disliked. Hitler's brother Edmund, passed away when Hitler was 11 in 1900. 3 short years later, his father also died, in 1903. Consequently, 2 years later in 1905, Hitler's mother allowed him to drop out of school to pursue the Fine Arts. After leaving school he, “Spent the next three years wandering around Linz attending the theater and spending time in the library". His mother, Klara Polzl, died 1907 leaving Hitler with no family. He was born in Austria, but did not want to join the Austrian army. So while still being an Austrian citizen, he was accepted into the German army, during World War I's outbreak. He mostly was away from battle, but was at a lot of very important battles, and at The Battle of Somme was wounded. For that he was decorated for bravery, earning both the Iron Cross First Class, and the Black Wound Badge.
