I've always wanted to work in the nursing field since I was just a little girl. I grew up around nurses, EMT’s, and Pharmacy Technicians. It finally occurred to me that I wanted to be an Registered Nurse when I sat and watched my great grandma pass away. She was on bed rest and a bunch of nurses, and hospice came every day to help her. I watched and observed them, and imagined myself as a registered nurse. I liked the thought of being an RN because I enjoy the thought of taking care of patients and enjoy seeing them smile. Knowing that I can help people who are in tough situations and who are in need brought me joy.. That's why I choose to further my career in nursing, by becoming an RN. The first step for becoming a RN is first to finish high school. You will have to maintain good grades in high school a well as college. Once you are done with that, you can sign up for a two-year License Practical Nurse course. During the LPN course, there will be clinicals you will have to finish, and a boards test. As a nurse, you will have to try your best to alway be happy. You will always need to be patient with your coworkers and the people you're taking care of. Being optimistic, methodical, empathetic, and tenacious will also play an important part in your job title. You should never show when you are scared or feel like crying. If you show those emotions with your body movements, you can scare your patients and make them worried as well. You have to maintain a high-strong attitude knowing that you are helping out people. I feel like personally that the best part of being a Registered Nurse is knowing that you are helping people out when they may-be down or sick. Having them walk out of the hospital room and them knowing they will be okay puts a smile on my
