Using the techniques discussed in the writing textbook and in class, summarize this article. Your summary should include only critical ideas from the passage, not your own opinion or ideas. Here are things that I will be looking for as I grade the summary:
The outline does not have to be deep in detail, just a brief overview of information they will be given, this would give the new employee a chance to prepare any questions they may have in regards to what will be discussed during orientation, this will help make the first day go a little smoother and gives the new hire a chance to project themselves as well prepared for some of the topics to be discussed. I think a well organized office should have binders prepared with the necessary forms that will need to be filled out on the first day of work, that way it would be a simple matter of filling out the documents needed by human resources in an orderly fashion. In this day and age many companies are moving towards e-programs that help alleviate some First Day Activities, which can be a time and cost saver. At the end of the morning orientation, a well organized company should be able to allow people to have their lunch break and then continue on to seeing their office and meeting fellow co-workers and staff members that are pertinent to their job. After the meet and greet, the new employee should be taken to their new office and be able to view the E-programs that are set up on their computer. This will allow the new hire to log on to the medical centers computer system for the first time with an experienced coworker along side of them incase there are any issues with their initial log-in. At this point, the new employee should be able to familiarize
All these techniques can help a writer to be successful on the article. Into the bargain, something that is important to emphasize during the fifth week, it is about how to give an order to our draft avoiding falling into too many quotations and an important error: The plagiarism. As a result, we can say that the book is like a manual, and it is up to us to follow each step and carry them out

Fully understanding the original writing will give you an idea on more than just the author’s main argument, but also on the tone and how the text is structured. There
Broadly speaking, your first day on the job is training, well not mine. My first day started on a Wednesday at 11am. Arriving fifteen minutes early to provide myself a few minutes to play with the computer and study the menu, I felt like I was being thrown to the wolves. Today would either make me or break me. Surprisingly, lunch was very engaged and went very smooth. Additionally, with lunch being counter service it gave me the

Going back to school is just the first step. I realize that there are some major obstacles that could hinder my success. Your summary should NOT contain an opinion or direct quotes from the text. Use your own words to summarize.
First, when I use citation, I had to mention the source of the information, such as author and published date, at the end of the sentence. Without mentioning, it became a plagiarism. Secondly, throughput the whole essay, the border of paraphrase and summary was not specified. Since, I had used summary and quotation rather than paraphrase frequently, I guess I did not understand these differences clearly. Thirdly, in this essay, most of the time, I used the sources only from the designated books without considering other different materials, thus I should researched more to get reliable information. In addition, in the second body paragraph, I had to assess the consequences of the comparison and utter my consideration in the original words. However, throughout the second paragraph, what I did was rewriting others ideas. In other words, I just wrote the existing information by replacing similar
The first day of work is pretty similar to starting a new school. There are so many unknown variables, which can be overwhelming for a new employee. Throwing new hires into their roles after watching an hour long video about the company is a recipe for disaster.
Starting a new job often brings nervousness toward all the unknowns. Past experience often plays into these feelings and can cast a dark shadow over the doors of the new workplace. This is true for Julia, who experienced much interpersonal turmoil amongst her former coworkers and starts her new job at a large technology firm next week. To make this transition easier, below will be specific things Julia should do to build good relationships with her coworkers and also things she should not do.
Seeing that Dev’s reaction to this email thread is so intense, and his attempt to change how society views stereotypes fails, the viewers ultimately see white supremacy break through. The viewers are able to see that whether it be through the audition, the production, or the execution in full, all parts shown in this episode were done so using a white character. This idea of racial hierarchy and white supremacy is clearly seen. As much as Dev and Ravi try to change the way Indians in particular are viewed on TV, they were unable to change the rules of filming and casting in the eye of white supremacy. The white workers from the auditions, producers, and filming or even the heads of networks have the ultimate say and can clearly cast someone else ultimately. “Indians on TV” doesn’t just identify this problem, it attempts to work against it. Dev and Ravi discuss the unspoken rule that there can’t be more than one Indian in a television show without making it suddenly an “Indian show” which isn’t for the mainstream. The mainstream being white people. Ultimately, all shows are central to this idea of the mainstream and white supremacy.
