My Island is called Baskerville Island-the scariest island of all time- and it is a tremendously frightful place. It’s so horrible that even spiders wouldn’t live there. There are 8 different components to my island; the mountain glowing liger area, the hounds district, the man-eating mountain goat region, the mutant fish-man sector, the human devouring rabbits section, the poisonous crocodiles, Baskerville village and in the centre, an army base, Baskerville’s mutant animal containment centre (BMACC for short).
BMACC is in charge of creating abnormal animals: ones that can be used against the enemy in combat. So far they have successfully created six mutant beasts which petrifies the people who live in the town. All you can see is suffering in the miserable animal’s eyes and scientists scurrying around with different types of abnormal substances. All you can hear is the screech of the animals as they attempt to escape from the devastating death hole and the snap of fragile bones. Your lungs burn as a stream of chemicals discharge through your nostrils. Your lungs feel heavy as you smell the wretched aroma of decade flesh. You taste the rancid flavour of decomposing blood from the barbaric animals’ victims. You feel frightened to the bone as you glance into the animal’s coal black eyes. You feel like you’re stuck in a nightmare as

Its claws are as sharp as knives. Slice. Its teeth the size of mountains. Snap. Its jaw has the power of 10,000 blue whales. Crunch. Its eyes phosphorescence like the sun. The ligers ice white coat glimmers in the black of the night. The liger floods the town folk with trepidation as its gaze falls upon them. The habitat of the liger is as mysterious as the Bermuda Triangle. The mountains advance higher than the clouds in the sky and delivers darkness to the people who live in the
People have no idea what occurs in the canning room at Durham’s. The chemists advertise mushroom catsup. In reality, the men who made these don’t even know what they look like. They would put animal 's body parts that humans wouldn 't eat into the cans. “ "De-vyled" ham was made out of the waste ends of smoked beef that was too small to be sliced by the machines; also tripe, dyed with chemicals so, that it would not show white . Finally the hard cartilaginous gullets of beef, after the tongues, had been cut out” (Sinclair).” mixing all these animal parts they created a new mixture which tasted like something, then sold it which would earn them a great amount of wealth. They gave cows tuberculous to make them gain weight quickly. They were putting the horses in the canned food, later banned the practice because the newspaper exposed them. Now it is against the law (Sinclair).”
On Assateague Island, there are different organisms, including rodents, different species of birds and fish,
(Connell 20) This quote shows that this island is known for something far worse than cannibals, but what could it be? Even the Captain of the ship is terrified of the island saying, “‘Don’t you feel anything?’- as if the air about us was actually poisonous.” (Connell 20) The beings on the isle are obviously not friendly, and no person would want to be stuck there.
In “The Way of All Flesh” the author Ted Conover describes his experience working as an undercover USDA inspector in a meat packing plant. He shows how extremely grotesque the industry really is by providing numerous examples on the health and treatment of animals, the conditions of the meat, and the health and treatment of the employees. Conover shows the reader what it is really like in the slaughterhouse by using descriptive language. Throughout the article Conover brings up the treatment and the conditions the animals are put in. Conover supports his arguments by appealing to the reader’s emotions, by making the readers feel sympathetic for both the animals and workers.
The Chupacabra is the legendary hairless, dog-like creature that is responsible for the cattle mutilations in Latin America. This “strange alien-like bipedal monster with red eyes and a long, thin row of spikes down its back” rips its victims apart and removes the ears, eyes, lips, and some organs (Coleman). Also, it sometimes drains the blood completely. The creation of the Chupacabra says a great deal about humanity. The legend of the Chupacabra shows that humans want an explanation for abnormalities, let their imaginations run too wild, and need a scapegoat for their carelessness.
Often, animals’ feelings and well being have been overlooked because society has instilled the idea that animals have no emotions. The Jungle describes animals as being a worker’s project that needs to be completed within a given time limit. After hogs entered Durham’s meat facility, they were chained by the ankles and abruptly tossed around the room; the only audible sound was the “high squeals and low squeals, grunts, and wails of agony”(Sinclair). The hogs anticipated in fear of what was to happen next, bred to be slaughtered for the greater good of humankind. Sinclair describes the workers carelessly
For my research, I did a phone interview with Rachel Janway on November 4, 2015. By conducting a phone interview with her, I was able to obtain accurate information on the attendance rate of the art festival. Ms. Janway informed me that the weather played a key factor in the attendance rate, especially the rain. Therefore, I researched the weather in Stillwater Oklahoma over a 5-year period, for the third week of April. In addition, the days I focused on were Saturday and Sunday because the event is held on those days. I visited The Old Farmer’s Almanac website, to obtain information about the weather in Stillwater over the
Murder and abuse cases never fail to startle society. Moral codes are flouted with unmatched rigorousness by these indubitable egregious crimes. Sufferers in these cases are often people. Nonetheless, these callous obscenities should not be seen as less important when animals are the victims. Animals undergo horrendous abuse due to barbaric individuals, greed, and unnecessary lab testing.
The experiments conducted in New York University’s research laboratories are cruel and the details are horrendously graphic. Researchers intentionally mutilate the eyes of the baby Macaque monkeys,
Biohazard Island is a not very well known facility. It was an island southeast of New York. The island itself is about 840 acres. The facility also known as Plum Island Animal Disease Center or the PIADC, had a goal of protecting livestock from animal diseases. During the Cold War a secret biological weapons program that was targeted livestock was conducted at the facility. Although over the years it has declined, but on July 13th of 2008 a strange creature washed up on the shores of Montauk. The creature was described as being part dog, raccoon, and even a sea turtle. No one really knew what this thing was. Most thought it was just a bloated raccoon and some claimed it was a extraterrestrial. But the creature later named the “Montauk Monster” was relatively the size of a large sea turtle so it could not have
The poor, shivering animals huddled against the corner of their prison cage, attempting to sleep, but kept awake due to the never-ending pain in their fragile heads and weak body. Any minute they know they'll have to, once again, face the torture of being strapped down to wires and small cups attached to their bellies, or the electrical shocks transported straight to their brains. They moan with pain but have trouble because the vocal chords have been removed so the screams dont disturb the scientists. They tremble with fear, sensing their fate, hoping it'll end. Fortunately, it will; the scientists will behead them, removing the brains to study and collect
The starry night is painting by Vincent van Goh done in 1889. The painting is inspired by the night view. It is a painting that was done by oil on canvas just as the way traditional paintings are done. However, the starry night was not painted at night as expected. It was done during day using van Goh’s imagination. According to van Goh, he always expressed his liking to draw a painting portraying the sky at night. Van Goh’s works on the starry night was inspired by the night skies and surroundings of the asylum where he was receiving treatment due to breakdowns (Brooks, 2012).
In an attempt to smuggle dino embryos off of the island for personal greed, the island's unhappy computer specialist shuts down the park's defenses to escape. Nature only needs this one small opportunity, breaks loose, and pure pandemonium on the island ensues. Those in control realize that they have none, and become the prey of their nonobedient creations.
The ancient Greeks were unquestionably a gargantuan reason that today’s civilizations are remarkably developed. Their ideas have affected multiple generations. In many ways too. For example their political, religious, and economic structures have all altered the United States and even the world. These three aspects are just a few instances of the importance of Ancient Greece. These, however, are the main reasons that Ancient Greece was so esteemed.
The way these farmers or workers treat these animals are very horrifying. They are feeding the animals with antibiotics and artificial foods so that they can grow bigger faster in a short period of time. He also explained that there are no seasons at supermarkets because the fruits and vegetables are being picked when it was green from halfway across the country. Products are even being imported from outside of the country. The products are being ripened with ethylene gas. The film went on to show that the meat no longer has bones. If you follow the packaging of these products, you would be surprised what
