Barry Sanders: GOAT In a Very short-lived career, Barry sanders changed the game of football forever. Standing only five feet, eight inches tall, Barry didn’t let his size keep him from doing what he loved. With Sanders being that little it made him and even more lethal opponent to the defense. Sanders was always doubted, ever since high school. The coaches would always tell him he was too little to play football past the high school level. In 1988, on the opening kickoff of the 1988 season, Sanders took the return back for a touchdown against Miami (Ohio). He had actually done the same on the opening kickoff of the 1987 season, too. Sanders went on to rush for 178 yards against Miami (Ohio). He also had 2 touchdowns that night vs Miami. The following game would be vs the top ranked and two time defending southwest conference champions, The Texas A&M Aggies. On that night Barry would go to rush for 157 yards and ended the night with 3 touchdowns. Two of the touchdowns were from scrimmage, and the other coming from a punt return late into the third quarter. Oklahoma State would go to beat The Texas A&M Aggies 52-12. …show more content…
He only rushed the ball 344 times from scrimmage and that doesn’t even include his yards from kick and punt return. Sanders would return 3 punt and kick returns, and 1,029 yards total. Sanders was drafted to the Detroit Lions in 1989, He played 10 NFL seasons with that team. Despite his height and size Barry sanders would end his season with the Detroit lions on a pace to break many records. Sanders ended his career with 15,269 yards rushing. He averaged 5.0 yards per carry. Sanders also would end his Pro football career with 99 total touchdowns. He is third on the “All Time Rushing List”.

Julio Jones received for 300 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Carolina Panthers. His performance against the Panthers made Julio Jones the sixth player in NFL history ever to have at least 300 receiving yards in a game. In addition, Matt Ryan threw for 503 passing yards, making them the first quarterback and wide receiver duo to gain 500 or more passing yards and 300 or more receiving yards in a single NFL game. Julio Jones was selected to his third consecutive and fourth career Pro Bowl and was named First-team All-Pro for the second consecutive year. Doug williams parents had 8 children and doug was the first , Doug williams was born august 9, 1955 (61 year old) in zachary louisiana , he went to Chaneyville school, zachary, Louisiana. He only got one offer out of highschool to to a hbcu . grambling state university is the only school to give doug williams a chance. after winning 3 south western atlantic conference championships as a four year starter at grambling university historically black university in louisiana. Doug williams thrived well in the Nfl combine which raised his stock in the Nfl draft.
Julio Jones is a wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons. He was the sixth overall pick in the two thousand eleven NFL draft. Before Julio became one of the best in the NFL he played wide receiver for the University of Alabama. In two thousand nine he helped lead Alabama to a 14-0 season, including a BCS National championship. Jones was the first ever true freshman to start a season opener for the Crimson Tide. Also at the end of his freshman year season he was awarded SEC Freshman of the Year. When Jones entered the NFL combine he held the longest long jump and placed third in the forty yard dash even with a broken bone in his foot. Julio Jones is ranked one of the best to ever play the game and is only growing.
