I chose the Automotive Service Technology course because I enjoy working with my hands and being able to do something that most people can’t do. I like having the guarantee that when I have a problem I will be able to figure out how to solve that problem in the most effective way possible. I also love to help my papa, Curt, while he’s working on whatever his project for the summer is, sometimes we are fixing up some part of the house and other times we fix up all of the bikes we have. I also enjoy working with my hands and being able to do something that most people can’t do.I want to learn the basics of cars and how to fix family's and friend’s cars including my own so when we have car problems I can figure out what the problem is and how to possibly fix it. After high school, I planned on going to college to pursue a music career I know that it’s very …show more content…
A few of these new options are a service writer, a service manager, a parts supply specialist, and towing and recovery. A few of the specific employment opportunities that I have found here in Marquette include; working in the Auto & Tires section of Walmart, Midas, Joe’s Automotive, etc. Me being enrolled in the MATMC would help me get a jump start in the automotive service technology field and teach me what I need to know before going into an automotive repair job where not many women work and there are many places that could use hard workers. I feel I am a good fit for the MATMC because I am a dedicated worker and once I start something I don’t stop working for it until I get the results I want or if I end up getting a better result. I am the problem solver in my family and try to help others in any way possible at school, sports and any of the few places I volunteer. If my what I am planning on gets thrown off I am usually good at finding an alternate route to get back on track with what I am looking
When I decided to become an engineer, I thought hard on what that entailed. I saw myself working on hands on projects with a skill and proficiency that I could truly be proud of. That's why after listening to the presentation for Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology in my freshman year here at Texas A&M I knew that this major was the best fit for me. The mentioning of learning how to manufacture and produce things from conception to finished product was very exciting to me. I also appreciate that the education is very application oriented rather than just teaching theoretical content. I feel that this directly prepares one for a future career in industry and this sense of job security is what really attracted me to this engineering
What is an Automotive Technician? An automotive technician is someone who works on and fixes vehicles. My career choice is to be an Automotive Technician. Universal Technical Institute (UTI) Dallas is the college of my choice because of their reputation and their teaching techniques. I want to eventually become a master mechanic, but that takes time. It is important to understand the education or the training requirements, skills or talents needed, salary and benefits offered and the duties for particular career when making this decision.
We are going to talk about Budgets. The career I will choose is a mechanic. They build things and they also test cars and other transportation sources. I plan to become a mechanic to learn new things, and to take care of my family. I plan to do lots of things, and have fun.
The institute designed their program to help people achieve their goals and dreams to get into the industry. According to studies, most employers would rather take in employees who have educational background or training on their specific field. This car mechanic school helps their students learn what they need to start their career. The institute's programs are accredited by The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges or ACCSC, which is recognized
A job is a job. A career is commitment. My dream career is being a TV announcer, a NASCAR announcer to be specific. There are job opportunities all over the country and lots of them to go around for Tv announcer. I want to be a NASCAR announcer because I enjoy watching NASCAR and giving play by plays of school sports. For the job, you probably will need a bachelor's degree(4 years of college ) or at least an associate's degree (2 years)to get the job.
As a matter of fact this assignment is more real than fantasy. I am currently at a crossroads in my life and my pursuit of higher education. When I made the discussion to return to school after being a stay at home mom, I choose the automotive program. The only experience I had that was remotely close to auto technology was a pick-up truck I financed that kept breaking down. This truck was my worst dream come true but it was from that experience that I suddenly became very interested in wanting to know how cars worked so I checked out a couple of books on the subject and then turned to my friend and said “I’m going to school for automotive technology”
Becoming a mechanic is something that I have always wanted to do, and something that I plan on becoming. I am going to Grant Career Center to get my ASE certification in automotive mechanics so I can pursue a future in mechanics. The availability of jobs is great with over 39,000 jobs are expected to open up in the next 10 years. It is also a well paying job with the top educated employees taking home over $70,000. There is no schooling required to become a mechanic, however, if you complete more schooling there is a much better chance of landing a job with a higher salary and better benefits. Becoming an automotive mechanic is something that I foresee as being my future career.
As a young man heading towards an exciting and successful career as an automotive service technician, I could be a great asset to your vehicle service team. Perusing a career within my personal interests will ensure enthusiastic passion to every aspect of a day’s work. I intend on entering the Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) for my final year of high school to pursue my goal of a career in automotive service.

In 2012, a 14-year old girl was shot in the head on a bus ride home from school in Pakistan. She was targeted by the Taliban because she believed in the rights of education for women and was not afraid to take a stand against this oppressive regime. Malala Yousafzai at 17-years old is a Nobel Peace Prize winner. Since then, Malala has opened schools in Lebanon, has a charity called The Malala Fund, and continues to speak to world leaders to fund the right for education. Malala is a pioneer for educational rights, just as I hope to be a pioneer for chemical engineering.
II. A. I am researching Truck Driving as a career. Truck driving is moving cargo, supplies or product from one place to another. Commercial tractor-trailer drivers have a physically demanding job. Driver will be driving for very long hours and that can be really tiring. When unloading or loading the truck, drivers will be walking and carrying, lifting and moving cargo to and from the truck. I chose this career because I will get to travel around the state or even the country.
When I first thought of what career I wanted, I played with computers so I just had the thought of to do something with computers like programming or a computer systems analyst. When I looked into more careers I had a bigger interest in cars and from there I wanted to be a mechanic. After wanting to be a mechanic I thought of who I could talk to or help to see if I would like being a mechanic and one close person to me that was into cars was my cousin who taught me a lot of things, like performance over appearance mods, “Tuner vs. Ricer”.
Being a girl in the engineering field, there have been times where I have questioned if I am in the right place. At the very start of my engineering "career" I never questioned it. Ever since I was a little girl I have always had a love for building and creating. While the other girls my age were playing with makeup I was playing with Legos, taking apart anything that moved, or sitting mesmerized at anything that had LEDs. The whole world of robotics fascinated me. Lego brick mindstorms, raspberry pis, and basic power tools like jig saws have always interested me. When I entered high school, my school was jumpstarting a robotics program, and of course fourteen-year-old me was one of the first in line to sign up. I was perfectly content with
I used to want to be a lawyer but things from the past with my family made me realize that career just wasn’t for me in reality. Also I feel like I could make more of a change in others’ lives by being a mechanical engineer, because of the fact that I know for sure I will be able to fix things and help people. The extra factors that come with being a mechanical engineer is that I’m not only going to know how to work on cars, I’m going to have a wide range of knowledge and skills for other
My whole life I have always wanted to become a successful engineer, and graduate from the University of Cincinnati. Some of my goals in life are to go to the University of Cincinnati. Another one of my goals is to become some type of engineer. But as of right now I would like to be a aerospace engineer. To be honest I really don’t know what influenced me to want to become and engineer. But something about engineering always appealed to me for some reason. But lately my engineering teacher has had a positive impact on me and is really making me like engineering and the overall field. So I guess that Mr. Smith has influenced me into being an engineer. My plan b is to be an engineer too. But this type of engineering would just be easier to
