Beep! Beep! Beep! Right now I’m thinking to myself that why do I have to get up so stinking early for school. I just want to keep sleeping but I can’t because of two reasons. The first reason is obvious because I have to get up for school, and the second reason is that I had to go number one undoubtedly bad. The stretch receptors in my bladder were screaming at me to go. They were screaming at me because my bladder was full of 800 milliliters of urine. My bladder was so full because my kidneys were trying to keep my blood pH levels normal so they were flushing out excess H+ ions. The only way I knew this is because the stretch receptors sent this message through the nervous system (aka the brain (the control center)) The nervous system sends and receives electric messages through the spinal cord and especially the brain. The nervous system receives and sends messages through the receptors in the sense organs. The nervous system is a part of everything in your body because it helps with homeostasis in every organ system including itself. Once I received this message I got up quickly and ran to the bathroom and relived myself. [1]

At the turn of the 20th century, serious debate raged in courtrooms and newspapers over whether the automobile was inherently evil. In 1907, one court compared automobiles to "ferocious animals" whose owners should be liable for their actions, with the crucial note that "it is not the ferocity of automobiles that is to be feared, but the ferocity of those who drive them." Even now, one of the biggest attractions of autonomous vehicles is the prospect of getting negligent motorists out of the driver's seat. Are we sure that the new driver less car is the best thing that ever happened?No longer will people be forced to spend thousands of dollars on a new car. Instead, when they need to get somewhere they will open an app on a computer or smartphone and call for a driverless taxi. Driver less cars rely primarily on per-programmed information about routes. If something on the road changes, they are lost. For example, they would not obey a short-term stop sign. Since this new driver less car is in question for some people, it's our opinion on where it's great or not.

Driverless cars. Who would ever think of putting these death machines on the road? If driverless cars are the norm on the road, then many more lives would be put in danger. Although some may say that driverless cars can be very comfortable on the way to work or anywhere else, they can cause more accidents than there already are. Some people may also think that during the commute to work it would be relaxing because they can read a book or even watch a movie. Self-driving cars… some people think they are good and balance this argument out, some people think its crummy idea. There are three articles that talk about the self driving cars, and they are, “PRO/CON: Is it time to hop in self-driving cars?” By Tribune News Service it’s about the pro and con about self driving cars;” Google allows man who is blind to test its new driverless car” By Ashley Halsey III and Michael Laris. It is about how they allow a blind man having a self driving car; and “Caution light is still on for Tesla's Autopilot technology” By Scientific American, a part of a car that help the driver. Self driving cars should not be legalized in America.

Self driving cars, are you kidding me? Do you know how many accidents could happen? It is not a good idea. They should stay in your garage. Why are they evan invented?

During December 2015, the California Department of Motor Vehicles proposed a rule that requires all driverless cars to come equipped with a steering wheel, pedals, and be driven licensed driver in case the driver needs to take control of the car.

In order to investigate how drivers interact with automated vehicles and their taking-over control behavior, a simulated automated vehicle platform was built using OpenDS driving simulator (see Figure 1). OpenDS is an open source and platform-independent driving simulator software with high performance scene graph based graphics API (OpenDS, 2016). The driving simulator was installed on a Dell Workstation (Precision T5810, Intel Xeon CPU E5-1607 v3 3.10GHz). The driving simulator includes an adjustable seat, wheel and pedal supports, Logitech Driving Force GT® steering wheel with force feedback (Logitech Inc, Fremont, CA), a throttle pedal, and a brake pedal. Driving scenario was presented on three LCD monitors with 3840×1024 pixel resolution.

Three decades ago nobody thought it was possible to possess a pocket-sized computer on the everyday person's body (Haskins and Whitt 4). Nobody would expect in the near future that driverless cars would overtake the human-driven ones. This once impossible idea may not just be as accessible as the smartphones many people carry around. Similar to smartphones, driverless cars have many benefits: less money spent, less everyday stress, and increased safety.

In recent discussions of growing technology, a controversial issue has been whether we are ready for the advancements of driverless vehicles. On the one hand, some argue that these advancements have already proven that we are ready. On the other hand, however, others argue that we need to have more experience with the technology before we can be ready. In sum, then, the issue is are we ready or not for driver-less cars. While others think that driverless vehicles can’t be trusted yet without a commission to help lawmakers with regulating the vehicles and government officials that know more about this technology to better watch over it, I believe that we are ready for this new evolving automobile because driverless vehicles already has too much potential beginning with its self-automated breaking system and warnings.

The high pitched squealing of my alarm woke me up from my Saturday slumber. I shift my body so my legs are dangling off the side of my bed as I reach for my phone. The repeated messages of, “Meredith answer your phone, its ten o’clock in the morning.” makes me question why my friend is texting me this early. This causes me to realize that I have thirty minutes until I have to leave. As I scramble to get my clothes together, I open my blinds only to realize that I look like a walking test pattern. I change my
