Attending Abingdon High school was an interesting experience. The academics at the school were well thought out, but poorly executed. At the school; the social structure was
“Preps” versus “Rednecks” with all of the other usual cliques caught in between. There were a few genuinely great instructors at this school that left a positive imprint on all of the students that they touched. Overall, the social and academic structure had a very negative influence on the students but the occasional light in the darkness, in the form of a select few amazing teachers, were enough to save the experience.

On September 30th, 2016, I observed a class at Ramirez Charter School in Lubbock, Texas. I had the opportunity to observe a third grade class led by Mrs. Yu Kim Johnson. She was assisted by a student teacher from Texas Tech, Abby Crutcher. The main focus of this observation was to observe all areas of the school and analyze how each contributes to or distracts from a positive, productive learning environment. Throughout this experience, I was able to get an idea of what could make a classroom negative or positive.
In the hypothetical case, the Rockshire High School official had reasonable cause to search Britney Sullivan’s cell phone for evidence that she and other students cheated on their AP History exam. The administrator suspects Britney because (1) the students scored extremely high on the AP History test (2) Britney has been in trouble in the past and is in the AP History class and (3) a teacher received a reliable tip from another student describing how the students cheated using social media. According to the Supreme Court case (New Jersey v. TLO, 469 U.S. 325 (1985).) the school administrator had the right to search the contents of the student's cell phone, since the administrator had reasonable cause to suspect the student of school policy infractions. The court’s decision in this case is that the student officials do not hold the same accountability of the police under search and seizure. Police are held to the strict accountability of probable cause while school officials according to the Supreme Court have only to prove reasonable cause. In this hypothetical case the supreme court would support the decision of the Rockshire High School administration to search a student's cell phone as evidence for cheating based on the fact that the administrator had evidence to support reasonable cause. The Supreme Court states, “reasonable grounds

Of the many classes that I chose to take, my two favorites were an English course and Health course. I may want to be a K-9 Officer, and these have few things in common with that career goal, but they were my favorite courses because of the professors who taught the course. Janice (Meredith) Privott for the English course, and Matthew Harpold for the Health course. These two teachers helped push me to better myself in almost every way. Mrs.Privott helped me on a personal level with stress and trauma; from her support she made me a much stronger person. Mr.Harpold helped me with my self-esteem, he took the time to help me when I needed it, even when I wasn’t in his class, just as Mrs.Privott did.

In the scenario of a lack of company resources and a budget cut, employees need to be let go. But the dilemma business owners struggle with is who exactly to fire. In this scenario, we will use a high school; Baruch College Campus High School (BCCHS), to be exact. Due to juniors all failing their AP exams, the DOE has allocated less money to BCCHS. Ms. Liquori, the current principal filling in for Ms. Perez, must let some teachers go. She cannot possibly pay all staff members for their work. But the question is, who should be fired while causing the least amount of negative impact on the school possible?
About a year ago an elementary school password mishap created a huge issue for a county. A weak network password allowed hackers to infiltrate a Gloucester County school district's network in which their files were held hostage for more than \$125,000. This attack occurred in Swedesboro-Woolwich Elementary's network and led to its files being locked and interrupted. The hackers gained access due to a weak set of network and security and accomplished this task by identifying an open port and trying various passwords until one worked. The district didn't pay the ransom and lost their email server, cafeteria lunch ordering system, and their classroom computers. This case study shows the importance of maintaining a balance between strong passcodes,
